Nice kit, has everything you need. A little pricey but the instructional booklet was what I needed the most and it breaks everything down into simple instructions. I got this kit to make little travel journals. I was going to just buy the journals but was trying to figure out how many pages to get in each one. After realizing I like being able to customize things, I decided to bookbind the journals so each journal would have the correct amount of pages I needed. I thought the materials would be 1/2 of an A4 but it was a little off so I cut my own pages and cover. The journal came out so cute, it's simple, has the exact number of pages I need and I can add more if needed (I'm still managing to find ephemera months after my trip, I need a better organization system for them). This kit is perfect for anyone wanting to start in bookbinding, it really does come with everything you need, even a ruler and a packet of glue.

I have been thinking about trying book binding but haven't really wanted to buy all the supplies to do it. This kit was absolutely perfect for those who are curious about the process. It gives you everything you need to make 3 styles. In the picture the journal picture does not come with the decorative covers. I added that after I finished with some scrap looking stuff I had. But other than the book was really easy to follow and set you up for a success. I would definitely recommend.

Did this with my grand daughter. She was ecstatic at the gift she made for her dad. 8 may be a bit young to do alone.

I just recently wanted to start learning about book binding after seeing several YouTube videos, but before investing into expensive equipment and materials I just wanted a couple beginner friendly projects to get started and the kit was just perfect. I've already made the pamphlet notebook and am looking forward to the other projects

This is the perfect starter kit for anyone thinking of getting into bookbinding, the materials are excellent quality and the instructions are really easy to follow. After this I progressed to a more expensive kit but the bone folder and awl were nowhere near the quality of the ones included in this, so I'm still using them for my own projects. Well worth buying if you want to try out a new hobby.

Great quality, well presented box of bookbinding fabulousness. I made 5 notebooks over the course of an afternoon and found it so relaxing. Highly recommend.

I watched a video about book binding and thought it would be a good project for my 7 and 8 year old kids. They followed the instructions add enjoyed every aspect of it. They ended bringing their booklets to school to show their teacher and friends. Highly recommended
