I used this varnish on a small oak table and was really pleased with the even, satin sheen it gave. It brought the wood grain to life without being overly glossy. The quick-dry formula is a huge time saver, but you do have to work fast , it can start to tack up before you’ve finished larger areas. I’d recommend applying in thin, even coats with a good quality brush. Slight smell during use but nothing too strong. A solid, professional-looking finish once dry.

I am really happy that I got this. My little project is finally coming to an end and this is making it look great. Applying it is very easy but it is watery so you might want to start small to see how well you mange it because coming to the edge can lead to a build up that then creates drips that either fall off or build up on the other side, which won't look great. There was no noticeable odour for me. It does have an initial quick dry time frame but because I wanted to do another coat, the instructions said to give it 2 hours but I gave it 3 to be sure. I selected the 250ml tin as a guess-timate from my project of two kitchen cabinet shelves and it is looking as though I will have enough left to do another 8 shelves if I wanted to. It asks that you stir the contents before using it but because the tin is filled to the brim, that isn't really possible without creating a mess. I poured it all out in to a plastic bowl, stirred it and whatever was left in the tin and then poured back what I felt I wasn't going to use. Being water based, the clean up is very simple, with the brush being ready to use again straight away or after drying.

Really well packaged, great for a clear varnish on our wooden doors with no colouring once dry! Applied well, nice and thin coats and not a strong potent smell. Definitely worth the money for same day delivery!

Easy application, finish and clarity is well worth value for money.

The finish can be quite good, but only if you work quickly and consistently with your brush strokes....it dries extremely fast, almost as your painting it on! Also, try and use it all in one go, because if you leave it a week or so, the lid sets as if it's been superglued to the tin!

Very small tin but really does the job well. I used this on a few tables to give them some extra protection. It really brought out the colour underneath and to be honest, I only needed to use a small amount on these tables (I used it on a nest of tables) I used about 3 coats it does indeed dry very quickly and the extra coats where to give it an extra shine, there was still plenty left in the tin so I will say it was decent value for money. The tables have been in regular use now for a few weeks and not seen any damage or chipping and the use has been pretty heavy use so I would say its pretty durable too.

Excellent Product. In the words of another manufacturer, it simply "does what it says on the tin!". It applies easily, with sufficient viscosity to adhere to the brush but with enough fluidity to penetrate all cracks and joints in wooden structures. It then dries quickly leave to a lovely satin finish. Obviously too early to comment on longevity - bought last night and applied this morning (thank you Prime) - but this has the attributes of a high quality product.

My third purchase of this product. Need I say more? Maybe next time I should just go for the larger size?!

Utilisation du vernis INCOLORE sur bois de hêtre neuf et poncé au grain 180. Ponçage "caresse" entre les couches J'ai vernis les portes en hêtre neuf d'un meuble et les façades des tiroirs. Ce n'est pas la première fois que j'utilise du vernis, c'est un produit plus capricieux que la peinture! Là, j'ai particulièrement apprécié: 1---La texture légèrement crémeuse du vernis qui atténue les risques de gouttes intempestives. 2---La couleur blanchâtre à la pose qui permet de voir tout de suite d'éventuelles surcharges. 3---Le séchage rapide qui m'a permis de faire les deux faces en un seule journée et les trois couches en 3 journées. 4---La quasi absence d'odeur, et le rendement. 5---Le fini légèrement satiné qui accroche la lumière sans briller et qui ne laisse pas de trace de pinceau. Nous avons trouvé le résultat magnifique et recommandons vivement ce vernis!

Con il flatting non sempre si azzecca, questo mi è piaciuto molto. Per ora la resa è buona e solo il tempo mi dirà se effettivamente durevole. Per ora soddisfatta pienamente!
