I'll just wait for you to stop laughing before I continue. Seriously though, it 's a simple jug that works as advertised. It fits nicely into small, undercounter fridges, and it'll store water (or whatever else you might want to put in there, I won't judge) nicely, and so far, no leaks. I can't imagine that's true if you hold it upside down, but I'm not silly enough to try. The pouring spout pours neatly and doesn't make a mess, and the jug itself is hard and sturdy, soit won't buckle when it's full. It's been wonderful to have a nice supply of cold water on hand. I'd definitely recommened if you have a tiny fridge and want to keep some liquid cool. Review: Well-designed fridge-friendly jugs - These are sturdy and good quality - I keep two of them filled with tap water in the fridge- overnight is long enough for most of the chlorine to dissipate (if you keep the little lid bit open). They are easy enough to clean with soapy water and a sponge or dish brush. The handle is long and in the middle of the side of the jug, therefore easy to pour (unlike when handles are at the top). The sealed lid clips on easily and there’s a mini-lid within that, that stays open if you push it back. This can be used for pouring and filling, and as mentioned to let chlorine escape in the fridge. The jug pours well with no drips. I thought these jugs gave water a musty taste but I think it might be leaving the water out the fridge overnight that does that. So I always keep them in the fridge now. Having said that I wash them with soapy water and scrub the lid each time I fill, as water seems so easily to absorb tastes and smells. I think you could probably remove the seal for proper cleaning - as you can with other click on tuppaware lids. Although these are plastic they seem like they should last for years, and are obviously more environmentally friendly that buying water in plastic bottles and even discarding a plastic filter every month. I used to buy bottled water so am very glad I was told the trick of just leaving a jug of tap water in the fridge overnight. It tastes the same as bottled or filtered to me. A great useful product- would recommend. ## Features - The Fridge jug has a 1.5L Capacity - It is made with BPA Free plastic - It has a spout for easy pouring and keeps liquid tightly sealed to avoid spillages - Equipped with a handle feature for easy carrying - From a brand that has been a part of the home since 1780 - The ideal jug for both storing and pouring liquid - Addis - made for life - Addis - part of the home since 1780 - Dimensions: LxWxH 10cm*19cm*20cm ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0016KC8NK | | Best Sellers Rank | 368,787 in Home & Kitchen ( See Top 100 in Home & Kitchen ) 346 in Jugs 60,957 in Storage & Organisation | | Brand | Addis | | Brand Name | Addis | | Capacity | 1500 ml | | Colour | Transparent | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 3,118 Reviews | | EU Spare Part Availability Duration | 1 Years | | Global Trade Identification Number | 05010303117607 | | Included Components | CLIP&CLOSE 1.5L FRIDGE JUG 504872 | | Item Dimensions W x H | 19W x 20H centimetres | | Item Shape | Rectangular | | Item Type Name | CLIP&CLOSE 1.5L FRIDGE JUG 504872 | | Manufacturer | Addis | | Manufacturer Part Number | 504872 | | Material | Plastic | | Material Features | leakproof | | Material Type | Plastic | | Model Name | CLIP&CLOSE 1.5L FRIDGE JUG 504872 | | Model Number | 504872 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Pitcher Form | General Use Pitcher | | Special Features | Carry Handle, Ergonomic Handle, Spillproof | | Special feature | Carry Handle, Ergonomic Handle, Spillproof | | Style | Single | | Style Name | Single | | UPC | 798256006395 | | With Lid | Yes | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Addis - **Capacity:** 1500 Millilitres - **Colour:** Transparent - **Material:** Plastic - **Special feature:** Carry Handle, Ergonomic Handle, Spillproof ## Images ![Addis 1.5L Fridge Liquid Storage Jug, Transparent - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51MNCN25kpL.jpg) ![Addis 1.5L Fridge Liquid Storage Jug, Transparent - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/516dKPlqIoL.jpg) ![Addis 1.5L Fridge Liquid Storage Jug, Transparent - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81O6XAX4YuL.jpg) ![Addis 1.5L Fridge Liquid Storage Jug, Transparent - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81JlT7nWhPL.jpg) ![Addis 1.5L Fridge Liquid Storage Jug, Transparent - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51934FWma-L.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Simple and fantastic jug for small spaces. *by D***. on 3 August 2022* This product is so 'cool'. Airtight and compact. Ideal for keeping my milk fresh. It sits nicely in the inside of my fridge door. Purchased 3 jugs in 2014 and just purchased 2 more. Reason being, I take a jug to work with me and stupidly put it on the driveway next to the car and promptly forgot. :( I then, unfortunately, proceeded to reverse over it. I had no hesitation to replace it with same. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.fr/products/48107887-addis-1-5l-fridge-liquid-storage-jug-transparent](https://www.desertcart.fr/products/48107887-addis-1-5l-fridge-liquid-storage-jug-transparent) --- *Product available on Desertcart France* *Store origin: FR* *Last updated: 2026-10-17*
