Does this harness place any stress on the elbow joints? My dog has had 3 ops on his front legs for elbow dysplasia so I need to be carefull!

There is no strain on any body part at all except the knowledge that balance is wrong and must back to correct it.the only body contact is the collar and a loop under each armpit; any load comes your lead hand, and from the dog lunging forward that then finds the balance is wrong and self corrects. Do not let your dog do running and jumping in excitement when off the lead, there is a joint problem; you have to live with that, but still enjoy life with a Mikki.

What size should I get I have a cavapoo

There is a size chart illustrated - If you first measure around your dog's neck and obtain the size, you can see which one you will need. The harness looks a bit of a fiddle to put on at first, and it also looks quite flimsy compared to a Halti, but you (and the dog) soon get use to fitting it quickly. I found it much better than a Halti to control my very active Springer Spaniel. I purchased a Medium size and easily adjusted the size down to fit his small neck.

Can their existing collar still be worn at the same time

Yes I leave my dogs collar on whilst using this harness. The existing collar just needs to be moved further up the neck towards the head and out of the way.

Can I use this harness in a 1 year siberian Husky aand what size i can get?

I bought mine for 1 year old cross lab and got the large one, he is now 19 months, and there is still plenty of collar to still adjust. Hope this helps, the large desc is for Boxer; Doberman, GSD, Labrador. Extra Large Bullmastiff, Rottweiler, Great Dane: st Bernard and Wolfhound
