Not bad at all !
Purchased this for my partner keep her sane during lockdown 😁 . Using my spare Fanatec wheel and pedals she is now learning tracks on GT6 in an MX-5 Lol. It's not as sturdy as a fixed rig , but it's not bad , well constructed and easy to assemble. Read the bad reviews here but still decided to buy and glad I did ! For the money it's a bargain and worth the price to put a smile on a certain someone,s face . If you tight on space or need to move your wheel when not playing it's ideal. If you wanted it would be easy to get a piece of sheet plate , drill 4 holes and bolt it where stand sits on floor to make it sturdier . Loads of things you could do to improve it or custom it to your own liking . The wheel and pedal platform is adjustable and fits everything well . Don't be put off by bad reviews and don't use truck spanners to tighten it all up Lol, I think you will find it a useful useable little addition to racing immersion 👍😎

The Ultimate Steering Wheel Stand
After buying a Thrustmaster wheel and pedals for iRacing.com I went with this product as it had good reviews and it looked pretty sturdy. After unpacking the stand it's pretty easy to assemble as there are only 3 main parts to the stand, the base, the shelf that you actually attach the wheel to and the column that's attached to the base and the shelf, the rest is mostly screws for attaching the different parts. Allen keys are supplied to help with assembly. Within about 10 minutes or so I had it built and then it was just a matter of adjusting the height and the tilt to my liking. The build quality is great, the main parts are all metal and the shelves where the pedals and steering wheel attach are wood. It's a very sturdy unit, the only thing I will say is that it does slide about a little when I'm using it (mostly when i'm accelerating it will move forward a fraction, not a big issue but during a long race it is noticeable and I have to pull the steering wheel towards me to get it back in place) as the 2 plastic feet on the unit don`t grip on my wooden floor, so it looks like I will have to buy a rubber mat of some sort to stop it sliding forward. When you are finished using the stand just undo 1 screw and it folds up pretty flat so you can store it away without it taking up to much room. I've only had the stand a few days but it has had a lot of use on iRacing and I'm very happy with it. I would recommend this stand to anyone as it's great for the price and does the job really well.

works well for a few months then welds will fail. Don’t buy.
I bought this back in March 2021. I had got into sim racing over Lockdown and wanted a stand for my wheel and pedals. I was looking for something easily storable and at a relatively low price. This did fit the bill. It was well packaged, easy to assemble and fully adjustable. However this is a story where you should “read the reviews” before buying. Flash forward to today (November 2021) I had found for the past month a lot of movement from the main upright that holds the wheel itself but only today did I see that. THE WELD HAD FAILED. Though this may seem like a good choice price wise you do get what you pay sadly. During races the wheel is unstable and moves back forth in tight corners. So sad as I will need to fork out more money on a better stand. Do not recommend.

A nicely-designed, sturdy setup on a budget.
I'm not a competitive gamer, but I do enjoy simulations. I recently got in to car & truck sims so I got a wheel/pedal set, (Thrustmaster T80). Problem was, clamping it to the desk left it in an awkward position for me. Could never get my seat right and the pedals kept slipping on the carpet. After a couple months like this I decided on a stand and, because I don't spend hours every week driving, I kept my budget below £100. At £55 this seemed worth a punt. It's sturdy, almost infinitely adjustable, and packs flat for storage. The fit and finish is superb, though some of the captive bolts seem like they weren't properly protected when it was powdercoated, meaning that some things like the feet took some gentle persuasion to start winding in. That said, it took me barely twenty minutes to build it and set it up to my ideal position. I've seen the comments about the welding and I agree that it's so-so consumer-grade. But I'd love to know exactly how much force people are expecting to put through this thing. I also note that one of the pictures in a review here shows the lower tilt bolt going in the wrong direction, which would certainly have stressed both the reciever plate and the weld on the adjustment cam. To put it another way, this product is perfectly fine, but probably doesn't handle abuse very well. In summary, this is an excellent product at a reasonable price-point which will almost certainly improve your gaming experience.

Wheelstand Review
I've looked at these for over a year now but the ones I've seen have been nigh on a hundred quid which is far to much in my opinion, Anyway I saw this stand here on Amazon & for £44.95 I was tempted enough to buy one. Arrived today & I've had a few hours on GT5 using a Black Momo & can honestly say this is a Must have for anybody that has a decent wheel & is into there racers/drivers. The Solid base makes it very stable & your feedback is amplified through the steel sections & the wheel base which is a right bonus. With the adjustments you can find the Ultimate driving position & will be completely comfortable without the usual aches & pains & leaning forwards in your chair, I literally have the wheel in my lap it could not be better for positioning as far as the wheel is concerned & when driving/racing you can pick your racing line Perfectly. My one & only criticism is you cannot tilt the base up at the back so I've slid a piece of wood under the back of my pedal base to just lift the pedals to the angle I like, Minor & like I said earlier this is a solid p[piece of kit & a Must have for any SIM racer/driver. Worth noting I ordered through Amazon & it arrived in super quick time & was well packaged, Building the wheel stand up takes a few minutes & once set up it's superb & it folds back on itself so can be stored away pretty easy. Lastly I hope this review gets them a few more sales as they deserve it for being 50 quid cheaper than the competition, Nice work [...] :-)

It's worth it for the price
Got this cheap rig for my cheap T80. It works a treat. The peddles sit a tiny bit wobbly but that's down to my laziness, ie don't notice it once you're driving so not bothered to rectify it. Very happy with it compared to my old set up. Ignore the bad reviews. This is probably your first rig, it's worth it. Later, if you feel the need to upgrade do so but for a starter set up that doesn't break the bank I highly recommend

The ultimate stering wheel stand
I recently bought a Thrustmaster T500rs steering wheel and pedal assembly for my PS3 and decided to enhance my gaming pleasures by purchasing a suitable stand rather than crouching over a table; so having scoured the internet I decided on the [...]. I must admit that I expected to just unpack the stand and fit the T500rs straight away without much fuss, but when it arrived I was somewhat disappointed; although it looked the part and gave off this air of grandeur it became apparent that it was not specifically made to encompass the T500rs system in it's list of compatible units. Being a practical guy it took me just a few minutes to construct, but attaching my system securely was another matter - especially the pedal box. Although there is a securing bracket with the package that you can attach to your system, I finally had to result in drilling a few holes in strategic places and inserting some nuts and bolts etc to ensure everything stayed where it was supposed-to and used 'cable-ties' to tidy away all the loose wiring. Having then secured and adjusted everything to my personal requirements I sat down to enjoy a session of furious and competitive racing - only to find that the stand has an annoying amount of forwards and backwards 'free-play in the 'column' adjustment bracket (which I can't seem to remove or reduce), thus allowing the steering wheel to move away from you by nearly 4" (100mm), a very disconcerting effect especially when you are not expecting it to happen! - So the only answer at the moment seems to be to try not to push on the wheel at all but to slightly pull down as you are driving to prevent this from happening. You also need to take into account that this is quite a slim and trim stand, so if you are using a 'force-fed' steering wheel or similar, under certain game-play situations it can quite easily be pushed off-balance and start to tip the stand in the direction you are turning the wheel (gently does-it!). Sounds all doom and gloom - but not really; after all I have said - I really quite like it and once you get used to the limits under which you can use it, for my money - it does what you want it to. so, the burning question has to be - "Is it worth £50 quid"? Yes I would say it probably is. Happy gaming...... Jan 6th 2013 Since the above post I have subsequently removed all play by simply changing the original fixing at the base of the column to an 8mm nut & bolt and a couple of flat steel washers. This was done over 6 months ago and I have not had any problems since so I guess it just needed to be more than hand-tight.

great steering wheel support
got this for my sons thrustmaster ferrari 458 steering wheel. the steering wheel fits perfectly but you will need to drill a hole in the base to fix the pedals.. no big deal really. I in fact marked and drilled a series of holes about 30mm apart down the centre of the pedal mounting board so I can move the pedals as he gets taller....the drill holes will be covered by the pedal box anyway. The stand is made of extremely sturdy metal box section with good M8 screws and knobs so also robust. Its very easy to assemble and as I stated earlier very easy to modify to fit the thrust master pedals. all in all one of the best steering wheel stands I've tried.

It’s not for fanatec etc
The pedal base and the wheel base are made of plywood not metal and there are no mounting holes at all, this is not suitable for fanatec etc as the base and pedals need mounting holes , there is absolutely no mention of wood used material and as its all black its easy to assume its all metal made
