Great pump.
Very quick delivery. Good price too. Well made pump and powerful (emptied my 2,000 ltr pond in about 12 mins or so). Heavy to lift but it has the built in carry handle to make it a bit easier to manage.

Great pool pump!
Works perfectly. Drains pretty fast with the right hose attached, better than one I have purchased before. Would recommend!

Decent value pump...
Decent value pump, easy to set up, primes easily and pumps strongly....very wet this year and has been pressed into pumping out grey water from a sceptic tank and a flooded driveway... Can block up if foreign objects enter the pump, a stone cracked the case on mine and a small piece of plastic caught the o-ring and destroyed it....easy to dismantle and clear and still works fine, has taken a lot of punishment.

Great pump for a cheap price
These pumps are brilliant as long as you don’t get string or hair clogged up in them. If you do they are simple to take apart and clean out. After that they run again. I have several years of use now pumping out septic tanks.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME or MONEY - after trying TWO of these units.
Einhell GH-DP 7835 780 W Electric Dirty Water Pump - Multi-Colour Okay - after trying two of these Einhell GH-DP 7835 780 W Electric Dirty Water Pumps I think I can say DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. I had read the other Five Star reviews before buying – these swayed me to purchase BUT my experience unfortunately does not meet my expectations. To compare this faulty Einhell pump with another make; Draper Submersible Dirty Water Pump 76335 that should have at least matched Einhell. . . . August 2011 - We started a new extension for the property, but from day one it started badly. The Draper was used at least once every day for three long years to remove water from the water table (property close to the sea) after problem caused by incorrect instructions from a Building Control Officer (who was new to the area). He told me how far to dig down for footings. Due to property built on reclaimed beach land the footings should have been 9 inches [22.86 cm] as a raft system - instead he said it needed to be one metre [39.3701 inches]. After trying to achieve the one metre depth - and after trying to rectify the problem as we went along - the ground gave way resulting in a huge hole 5 metres x 4 metres x 2 metres. Structural engineer said immediate action required by flood filling the base with around 12 inches of reinforced concrete. This resulted in a swimming pool effect as the concrete was way below the water table. The BCO inexperience ended up causing a huge excavation of this unwanted swimming pool that was this size; Length 5 metres x Width 4 metres x Depth 2 metres. The Draper removed 210 Litres per Minute - it would take around 2 hours and took 25,200 litres every day in its stride. Fast forward to August 2017. Although most of the extension was completed early 2014 - there is still a problem with one section that still needs dirty water to be removed but only occasionally, because the two large bath type containers fill up slowly. After the Draper finally gave up, I brought the FIRST of TWO Einhell GH-DP 7835 from Amazon Marketplace. But I had to return it - because as soon as I used it, it leaked like a sieve around the body. Stupidly at that point I didn't buy another Draper – just thinking I was unfortunate with the first, so I brought the same Einhell - but this time direct from Amazon. Once again, the second Einhell GH-DP 7835 looks like it is well made, and because it is from a German company I thought the first was just a one-off faulty unit – and that this second unit must be okay. When it was delivered I used it straight away. It worked okay. It drained both units with no problems. On Saturday 11 November 2017 I tried to use the SECOND Einhell again because the very large containers needed emptying. On this occasion it seemed as if it was working inasmuch as the motor was churning over BUT the water level was not going down. So I jiggled around with the float switch - trying every position. The motor would start but the water was still not going down. I had brought 15 metres of 32mm diameter smooth bore corrugated flexible hose (32mm to match maximum of Einhell output) so when trying to get the motor to change from sounding like it was working to actually kicking into to the next phase of actually sucking in the water it was impossible to see if the water was coming out the other end (because it was to far away). Although with smooth bore and correct diameter hose, I knew nothing would/could get stuck I spent hours trying to get this unit to work as I really did not want to hand bail out this very dirt water some distance to garden drain, that would have taken a very long time. After all that is what I brought a dirty water pump for! I followed the instructions and removed the paddle. (Although I could see nothing was clogging the unit). I also removed the hose connector to look inside housing best I could, but couldn’t see any thing clogging unit up. But being ever the optimist – I kept trying but nothing would jog the sucking action into life. At one point it did start to work, I kept my hand in one position so as not to lose that very delicate “faulty float switch” connection. I managed to keep it going for around 30 seconds by not moving my hand at all, but it just stopped pumping out. [By trying to use the float switch as recommended – that is to float on surface DID NOT WORK]. Then I thought I’ll remove the pipe/hose connector altogether – hold unit up nearly out of the water, enough to show end of outlet and jiggle float switch for ages, to eventually get the motor to work. That is when I saw that the pump did not have the power to push water with anymore force than around ONE INCH above the outlet hole – it was pathetic. Here is a pump that is supposed to be able to PUMP UP to 8 metres. As I thought to myself, I could have blown the output higher than this very disappointing dirty water pump - myself. When I found that the pressure was so weak I started to compress the pipe with fingers only to find the pipe was full of water that had not been pumped out – that was only making matters worse. Well after I’ve now got this off my chest – unless you want to take a chance that might end up wasting a lot of time, and with no results, steer clear of this flawed unit. Somehow I don’t think this Dirty Water Pump is made in Germany, because my experience with German made products is excellent. For the record – I have been buying from Amazon since 2005. I think I’m correct when I say I have never written a review before, I just don’t have the time – but I’m still spitting feathers’ over this waste of time TWICE in around a month.

Every property needs a sump pump
Got this pump 3 weeks ago and pressed it into service. Should you need a sump pump, now that's an emergency and it needs to be uncomplicated and immediately usable. This is the beesnees. All you need is a sump,,a power supply and bobs you're uncle... Comes with a three pin power supply plug . Now that we're coming into winter and not looking forward to wet and floods I got my sump pump and I'm ready for anything...

Amazingly good value
I needed to raise water 10 metres up a very steep garden to fill a 1000 litre tank that I bought after the summer drought of 2022 here in Devon, England . This pump can’t do that. But I do it in two stages via an intermediate water butt. It’s a bit of extra bother, but in 1/2 hour I can move 220 litres. The pump can be fitted with either 25mm or 32mm internal diameter pipe. Wider is better, but much more expensive. I mistakenly bought 25mm external diameter pipe, but it still works fine.
