Gobe NDX 49mm Variable ND Lens Filter (1Peak)

I love GOBE products. They care about the environment and their packaging is fab. You also get a little lens cloth with your filter, which is a nice bonus and a good way of getting their brand at the forefront of your mind each time you clean a lens ;)This little variable ND was mostly bought to add weight to the end of a lens I'm using with the SZABTO Zhiyun Crane 3 Axis Brushless Handheld Gimbal Stabilizer. I can't say it really added much weight, but it's a great bit of kit anyway, particularly for lenses paired with non-internal ND cameras, like Sony's A7sii or A6500.A great price too - really nice.

Works really well, smooth rotation, good markings on filter. Image quality good too. Images from camera were evenly darkened across the whole image. I mainly use it for video and vlogging, and its great for that.Very well packaged and has a nice tin to keep it safe.Well made too.

I really liked the presentation of the filter. It comes in a nice round metal case, with styrofoam padding inside, and also with a cleaning cloth seperate. Works really well on my Sony E-Mount 35mm. It does exactly what it's meant to do! And for a reasonable price too.

Honestly I would never leave the house (with my camera) without this - critical for getting beautiful footage in sunny or bright situations with a low aperture.Of course if you want to spend the crazy money for better versions you will iron out the minor criticisms people have with this - but they're are just that, minor.Awesome value - very happy

For the price, it is very good compared with the price of other variable ND filters, plus there is no "X" like I've seen in other ND filter reviews. I purchased two for each of my lenses, will purchase more if I get more lenses with different thread sizes. Would definitely recommend.

Well packaged, have some time to learn to use the ND filter, works well on my RX100M2. No hard stop on the variable ring but very smooth and rigid. Need more practical testing to fully experience its good. I am just a newbie beginner and this ND filter fulfill most of my needs.

Very good at the beginning but I only used it 2 times so far. While I was using it the second time I have starte spotting a black area on the left side corner when using the filter...not very happy with that. I will give it another try, and if it stills apear, I will return the productUpdate.The filter creates a vignete. It is quite annoying as the marking on it are not precise at all and also, sometimes i see the vignete only after I take the picture. I cannot check the photos every time in order to see if the filter creates vignete or not.
