Will this umbrella be able to endure strong currents of wind without snapping/getting damaged?

No - I just went into town during my lunch break and a sudden gust of wind snapped two ribs. I am now having to sit in the office soaking wet and looking for a replacement umbrella. Sadly, this British designed umbrella is not up to the British weather !!

How big is the canopy? Is it 109cm inside or smaller? Also can two people fit

The canopy is 90cm inside or 100 if you measure across the frame. Two people would fit under it as long as they are normal sized people.

How long is the stalk when fully opened? I'm annoyed by umbrellas that you have to hold just under your chin!
