I love these lamp shades. They look cute and are brilliant with coloured lighting. I have the white ones and they do not mess with the colour of the lighting, it is nice and bright when set on white and coloured light comes out true. They look soft and fluffy enough to hug and the ball shape helps this effect. Good in living rooms, bedrooms and kids rooms. These are adorable.

This shade feels sturdy and well made. I've got it in my bedroom but I'd say it would work in a living/dining room too. The instructions were very easy to follow and it comes with everything you need to attach it to a regular light fitting - you just need a light fitting with a bit you can unscrew so you can screw the attachment in place. Some old light fittings have lost the bottom part - if that's the case I'm sure you can buy a replacement for that bit. It's not heavy, the metal part fits inside perfectly, it looks playful and interesting, and the light is still nice and white and is still bright when I turn it up full, and it diffuses really well without casting shadows, which is exactly what I wanted. As you can see in my photos there is a small opening at the bottom, in case that's a concern. I chose a different origami lampshade for my living room - the light there creates a spotlight above the sofa, so I wanted something closed underneath. This one does have a hole at the bottom like most lampshades, albeit this one is smallish and somewhat shaded by a few feathers. You attach everything - lightbulb and metal frame - and then stretch the shade over the metal frame as the final step. It came flat in a study box, the shape of a pizza box. I'd happily buy this again and i think it would make a nice gift.

Lovely good size looks beautiful

great size, light shines through brightly. Looks really good. Just need to be careful when opening up as a few loose feathers. Not something that can be messed with too much. But once up looks great. Not to sure how best to clean it when it’s dusty. Not sure it will cope with a vacuum so will try a feather duster or something similar.

Simple, yet effective. So easy to put up and it looks so much better than I thought it would.

I never leave reviews but after buying multiple feather lampshades that look cheap and numerous feathers falling off, this one really is the one ! Only two or three feathers fell off when fitting and it looks stunning when lit

Beautiful quality for the price. This is the smaller version of the two and it’s a real feature of the room. I saw other cheaper versions but I am so glad I went for this one.
