**Q: What is the depth of this speaker? The main text says 2.84 inches, further down it quotes 10.2cms. Thanks.**
A: PLG64 DIMENSIONS. According to the leaflet supplied within the packaging, the overall depth is 3.2 inches and the mounting depth (measured from the rear of the fixing rim to the back of the magnet) is 2.84 inches. The overall  diameter is 6.64 inches. I can confirm these measurements are correct for the units I purchased.  Hope this helps.

I just replace that with my old woofer on landrover discovery 2 on its orginal system

After reading about how bad Pyle speakers can be I decided to try one for myself. It looks and feels well made enough. I installed it in my boombox build and it sounds pretty good, bass goes pretty deep with good punch. Time will tell if it lasts but so far it's worth the money.
