Tefal Multi-Cook Advanced 45-in-1 Multi-Cooker, RK812142

Owned for an hour.... and have made two different things. Both very good. Don't suppose i'll ever bother with most of the settings though.My advice.... give it a go especially if you cook and freeze,Tip------- chuck the instructions in the bin its all fairly obvious on the front panel.... The "DIY" setting will probably be enough for me..UPDATE (after 5 hours of ownership) ------ Having been cooking now nonstop since the Tefal "54 in 1" arrived. I can safely say this will pretty much replace the cooker... the whole thing about "45 in 1" is of course utter cobblers and silly sales speak but having said that it really is impressive and well thought out. I'm rather taken by the Harry Potter type "cauldren"!Think of it as a fast slow cooker.------ Day 2 of ownership update-----Best rice I have ever had.... took maybe 20 mins. Yoghurt and porridge all came out fine....The only downsides are I think it will be a bitch to keep clean... and the instructions are well..... absurd. Anyway there we are. Will review again at Xmas when I try an xmas pudding in it..

I actually bought this product because I wanted a decent rice cooker... but I have used it for Rice once. It's bloody useful this thing. You just chuck anything in there and turn it on... Literally! I first struggled to find that many varieties of things to cook in it, but you realise after a couple of uses that you can literally just make up everything! It's useful to know in the UK most of what this thing cooks are known as "one-pot recipes". Not only does it really make everything tasty, but it's also cheap! The unit is cheap and the cost of food it makes is also cheap, I often have 3 days of meals out of one load (just for me) otherwise each load can feed around 6 hungry people! Best of all you just smash it in the dishwasher and boom no cleaning involved. If you are lazy this is literally the dream kitchen appliance, the hobs not been used since I got it!This thing has enabled me to eat more homemade healthy food, it saved me time, it made me more creative in the kitchen and it's saved me a ton of money. I would recommend this to any deliveroo addict.

The fuse went in my old rice cooker and rather than replace the fuse I decided I'd like to replace the cooker with something a bit more fancy. I really wanted to get a rice cooker that was programmable, offered either a timer or a delayed start function and that could be used for more than just rice. At first I wanted a Zojirushi(since they are the king of rice cookers) but after looking at the prices being charged for them, I felt that I wouldn't get my money's worth from it. A friend of mine explained to me that a multicooker was literally the same as the Zojirushi and so after a long time debating on which make to get, I ended up with this one.The cooker comes with an instruction book, recipe book, rice paddle, measuring cup and ladle. It's very easy to set up and use the first time, just make sure to wash it first. I have only used the rice, pasta and dessert functions but everything I have cooked has came out perfectly. This cooker cooks rice much better than my old one, the pasta came out perfect and so did my cheesecake. I plan to try other functions as I go along but considering I only needed it for a rice cooker this thing is amazing.

Living in a student accommodation with limited space and a so called 'kitchen' which is absurdly small, the MultiCook, although occupying 70% of the available space, is indeed very good to use.Using this device is somewhat easy, if what you're looking for is in the menus displayed. However, improvising and finding the correct settings to cook something may be difficult but I managed it.I've not use the the other functions of the device yet but I think it would be good.The downside is the recipe book, limited recipes. I don't know whether there are some available online but if there is, then it'd be great.Overall a good product 8/10

JUST RECEIVED MY COOKER FROM AMAZON ABOUT 45 MINUTES AGO BUT HAVE ALREADY UNPACKED IT, SET IT UP, & FINISHED COOKING MY GREATEST EVER RICE WITHOUT EVEN READING THE MANUAL BUT WILL READ IT LATER TONIGHT, CAN YOU BELEVE IT,I KNOW ITS JUST WAY TOO QUICK TO LEAVE A FEEDBACK AFTER JUST SOME FEW MINUTES BUT ITS A MANIFEST OF HOW SURPRISED, HAPPY, & CONFIDENT I FEELS, HAPPY I DIDNT LISTEN TO THE 3 STARS & BELOW PEOPLE BECAUSE EVERYTHING THEY COMPLAINED SEEMS TO BE TOTALLY FALSE, THE MACHINE IS LIGHT AS 12 INCH LAPTOP, STURDY, SUPER SILENT, & UNBELIEVABLY SAFE, CAN NEVER BE BURNED AS NO WHERE ON THE EXTERIOR GETS HOT AND EVERYTHING JUST HAPPENS INSIDE,THE MENU IS THE EASIEST & CLEAREST & YES HAVE JUST OWNED IT FOR 45 MINIUTES BUT FIRMLY BELIEVES ITS GONNA DO SOME WONDERS,THANKS AMAZON

UpdateThe cooker developed an intermittent fault on the panel. Luckily it was within the Amazon return period, so it was sent back. I still highly rate the product and will look at getting another.This is one of those gadgets that when you have used it, you realise just how good it is. I took a long time looking at reviews before buying this particular model. It is very simple to use and the programmes work brilliantly. It is very easy to clean and I cannot recommend it highly enough. The only drawback is the incredibly poor cookbook which goes with this product. Come on Tefal, produce a more comprehensive book, to help the novice use the Multicooker. Other than the book I am happy to Highly Recommend it.
