After a *lot* of research into different water ‘cause and effect’ toys (pipes and cogs etc) and some disappointing returned purchases, I picked this as a birthday gift for my water-obsessed newly-turned-2 daughter. OMG she LOVES IT. We considered the version without the submarine shower/pump as we were worried she’d soak the whole bathroom but in the ended opted for this (reasoning we could always put the pump/shower bit away until she is older if need be), but needn't have worried - the spray isn't too powerful and the effects on the main unit are interesting enough that she’s only really interested in pointing it at that! Bonus is that my 4.5 year old also loves it, so I think it will get a lot of use for a long time. Having looked at the weight and construction, I think we’ll also be able to use it outdoors (suctioned onto patio doors) in summer. Well made and a great toy.

Although we have owned this for a couple of years, my son usually has showers so he hasn’t used it very much. Probably 15 times in total. It’s always been stored clean and dry. Been used very little. It stopped working and can’t get it to work again. Expect something at this price to last better. Pretty disappointed at poor quality in terms of length of life.

Fun toy for the bath - save some water and kids happy spraying. 4 stars as the whale doesn't stay on and is a bit boring. Submarine works just fine, not overly strong but probably a good thing! Water doesn't go too far out the bath.

This constant stream and water is really good for little ones to play with and stops you having to keep a shower or tap running to entertain them. The eyeballs that go round are a brilliant feature. Hours of fun, if only it’d work for a shower over the bath too!

Great been using since November and still going strong

We had one of these a few years ago for our first child. It lasted a good 6 months or so and she liked it so much we bought one for our youngest child. Again it has been played with every night in the bath and both our 3 year old and 4 month old love it. Yes it uses quite a few batteries but as long as it doesn’t get blocked up with soap scum lasts a decent amount of time. We take it out when we have bubbles in the bath to prolong its life. I would recommend.

My daughter was very excited about this toy she received from Father Christmas! Used once in the bath then stopped working sounded like the motor had seized tried new batteries but still making loud whirring sound and no longer sucking up the water. Would not recommend as now have a very disappointed 19 Month old.

I was looking for a new bath toy for my 18 months old baby. I bought several in the past but this is a brilliant toy. My son, who didn't like bath time- doesn't want to go out of bath!! He plays with this tap for almost an hour. The tap intrigues him and he plays with this in so many ways: fill the cups, spins the propeller and he even tries to drink from it! It is easy to put on and off. Highly recommended!

Yookidoo make great bath toys! My kids have had lots of their stuff and they've always lasted long with no issues. Previous to this, they had the submarine one that had a pipe and water faucet handle on one end. My kids love filling up water in little cups and buckets in the bath tub and want the faucet constantly running so this is the perfect toy for that! Now instead of letting the faucet run, we just turn this on and it keeps them entertained for ages! The little gears and buckets are a nice addition too!

Super produit mon fils adore

Cuando un bebé llega a cierta edad, la ducha ya empieza a ser divertida, normalmente hacia los 9 - 12 meses. (Al menos en nuestro caso). El teléfono de la ducha le resultaba super divertido, queriendo jugar con el chorro constantemente. Pero el gasto de agua que comportaba nos parecía desmesurado e innecesario... y buscamos algún producto que simulara eso. Encontramos este grifo y ruedas, y creo que no pudimos escoger nada mejor. Funciona perfecto. Hace ya unos meses que lo compramos, y funciona a las 1000 maravillas. A nuestra niña le encanta meterse en el agua y jugar con los vasos, con las ruedas, quitarle los anillos a las ruedas, ponerlos, mover el grifo de un lado a otro, jugar con el chorro, pararlo, encenderlo,... ella se siente que tiene autonomía para hacer cosas a la vez que va desarrollando su psicomotricidad, le pregunto los colores, jugamos a colocar los anillos a las ruedas, con los vasos,... Se ha convertido en un entretenimiento perfecto. Antes costaba meterla en la ducha para bañarse, ahora a veces cuesta sacarla. :D
