One wire goes into one end of a terminal block at the side of the switch and at the other end of the term block the wire goes to the '2 way' terminal on the switch. The other wire from the neon connects to the 'com' terminal on the switch. So, your incoming live wire connects to 'com' and the switch wire (the one that goes to the light) connects to the '2 way' terminal on the switch. For double pole you need the WP30 (20a Double Pole) **Q: this states it is 2 volts i presume it is wrong and should be 240v?** A: You are correct 240 volts is the standard supply voltage it's the one that I am using it for no problems as long as you wire it correctly as per manufacturers instructions **Q: I this a rocker switch?** A: Yes. Should have lasted longer but the physical switching component failed. All other switches still working correctly. Instructions a bit better than most. Not the easiest of units to remove the rear plastic segment that takes the wires through.
