I've put two of these in my daughter's room, two in the main bedroom, and the spare room, plus we have them in the kitchen. It's surprising how much random stuff we have to charge, but those things didn't come with their own plug! Just like a lot of tech nowadays, we can charge all of the motion sensor stair lights, shavers (mine and my wife's), torches, etc., all without needing a plug. They only charge at 5W, but for small things, it's perfectly acceptable. You do not need to be an electrician to install these; you just need common sense. But of course, get a professional to do it if your brain is not DIY-friendly. I found them very easy to install, just like a regular outlet. The switches have a fairly premium feel to them and are really nice quality. So far, after having them installed for about 10 months now, we have not had any issues. Good value for money..

Happy with this double switched socket. It’s well made, feels sturdy, and once installed it just quietly gets on with life — exactly what a wall socket should do. Switches are firm and positive, terminals are solid, and it sits flush on the wall. Looks clean and smart without trying to be fancy. Two small niggles: the wiring space is a bit tight if you’ve got thick cables, and the screws need lining up properly if you care about them being perfectly straight (which, let’s be honest, some of us do). Neither affects how it works. Overall, reliable, decent quality, and does not electrocute you — always a win. I’d buy it again.

I'm a qualified electrician so please always use a qualified electrician to replace electrical items. This was very simple to swap out with good terminals at the back. These fit easily in a 25mm back box. I have the metal back box so I can't comment on the plastic plasterboard type boxes. The socket swiches feel sturdy at the moment so we will see if they last. As for the USB sockets they are in a reasonable place as some clash with plugs when in other places. This is NOT a FAST CHARGE unit. It is higher current output but not variable voltage or 5A output required for some devices to activate the fast charge in your device. Just be aware if you routinely have your electrics tested by an electrician as you should these will cause the test to fail as they leak a very small amount of current into the earth wire. A good electrician should ask as they have to bypass the socket earthing. But you should make them aware.

Excellent wall plug socket with USB ports. It saves us from using multiple charging plugs and makes charging various tools using USB a lot easier. The socket is of excellent quality, it's easy to get connected and looks pretty on the wall.

Now that the price for half decent USB Power Delivery capable plates have come down to a reasonable price, this is a effective way to add 15w USB sockets to your wall without occupying a slot with a USB Adapter. This is particularly effective and removing some of the clutter of old chargers for many devices we use today. It'll get your phone charged in a pretty quick time, without putting excessive strain on it from higher levels of fast charging. It's installation is almost fool proof, as it comes with clear instructions and a set of colour coded and imprinted tags inside, making it a breeze to wire up and get going in less than 10 minutes. Be wary of the minimum depth required for the box, but 25mm depth is enough to fit in. If you want to rid yourself of some old USB chargers that plague your plugs, or just have easily accessible higher power USB plugs, this is the best entry-level plates you can grab for a solid price. There's higher power ones and different styles out there, even from this brand. So grab what fits your needs!

Even though I ordered a 5v2A model but I got 5v3.1A model. Since I ordered using prime but order took 5 to 6 days to deliver, hence compensated. The quality is acceptable to good, I will not call it excellent quality but good enough that I am happy with the product. It was very easy to replace, took me less than 8 eight minutes from unscrewing the exisinting one and putting this new one in. However you can see that bottom bit is leaving a 2mm gap, that I shall be covering in the next paint job. I didnt have to change the long screws, the older one fitted perfectly well. Tested by plugging in a lamp & a laptop, both worked perfectly fine. Also tested Samsung Galaxy S4 charger in the main socket,works like a charm. I tested iphone 6s & 5, Samsung galaxy S4 / S2 in the USB ports all works like a charm, slight quicker to charge an iPhone but as far as it is smart USB (as it says on packaging) I am happy with it, quicker becaue the output is 3.1A. Just out of curiousity I put a USB hub, and put both Samsung Galaxy S2 & S4 together & it charged them but there was significant decrease in performance & it took painfully long (sharing a USB by using HUB is not a good idea).
