Milliput Epoxy Putty, Terracotta, Nicht zutreffend

I bought this to repair an old carved and gilded mirror frame. It was easy to apply and mould to the shape of the missing details before it set hard, applying water smoothed the surface of it. After it had set I could still carve and sand the putty to get it looking even better. It adhered to the old frame very well. I then gilded the terracotta coloured putty and the repairs are hardly visible, I would highly recommend this product.

Did the job. I bought this to repair a full length crack in a large thick outdoor terracotta planter. I was unsure how far this would go so bought two but one was sufficient. The instructions are simple and easy to follow. The process itself is straightforward. Having read the product warnings, I wore simple non-sterile latex gloves and needed the two parts together until they became one homo genius ball. This did cause some terracotta staining of the gloves which were always destined for the dustbin but my hands were fine. It was easy to apply and mould and held well it has filled the crack. The colour is strong like a new terracotta pot. I expect this will fade and I am very pleased with the result it makes the part secure and defective again.

I used this to seal a terracotta plant pot hole in order to make it watertight for a water feature and it worked well, took a few mins to work it together but it set quickly and is rock hard. The terracotta is dark but it was fine for what i was using it for as you wouldn't have seen it anyway.

This is such an amazing product, I first used it years ago to touch up a chip in the spout of a terracotta tea pot. Then when a Bay Tree in a pot was knocked over (very large pot - so expensive to replace) I thought I would give this a go to join the crack and keep the pot in tact. It worked, the finish is a very close match to the pot. It was easy to apply as the texture is like that of putty so malleable but not sticky . It dries to a hard finish so you can then do a water test to make sure the repair has been successful. Versatile from tea pots to large terracotta plant pots, a great money saver.

This Milliput Epoxy Putty was a lifesaver! Our puppies are teething and decided to take a chunk out of our stair woodwork. My dad, who’s a contractor, recommended this, so I knew it was the right product for the job. It was really easy to mix — I found it works best to use small amounts and build up layers. It dried quickly and was simple to sand smooth afterwards. Once we painted it and added a steel cap, our stairs look great and are now puppy-proof! Definitely recommend if you need a strong, reliable repair.

Milliput is easy to use, adheres well and sets hard. I was disappointed by the colour as it is very pale/pastel. I had expected a more vibrant turquoise.
