Johnston & Jeff Wild Bird Food, 20 kg (Pack of 1)

Good value large bag of seed. This is the second one i've bought, and the birds seem to love it. Seed seems to be going down better than the fat balls which have gone mouldy! The only negative is that it is a large bag (the size of a large bag of dog kibble/approx 1 metre high), so storage could be difficult. I bung it in the shed, so for me it's not an issue. It's better value than buying smaller bags, and attracts lots of birds, even last year, 3 local pheasants!

Great value for money and the local birdies love it! We've got house sparrows, robins, wagtails and blackbirds as well as a lovely family of wood pigeons who hang out in our garden and we have seen several generations coming to our garden for this seed. It's lovely to see them grow and to know we've helped them out this year. The seed is always gone by the evening, so the 5 stars is from our lovely feathery garden friends! Big bag and a variety of ingredients, always reliable and good quality!

In my opinion the last thing you want to feed wild birds is a seed that's been so denatured that it won't actually sprout - this will sprout, so you might want to think about that. Though as I said I think of this as a huge positive. I dread to think what they do to the other stuff, and what that process or any chemicals they use then does to our feathered friends! I have quite a few bird feeders so always like to buy in bulk. This is a good quality seed at a sensible price, and very popular, given how many times I have to refill the feeders! I recommend checking the bag on delivery as I've had the bags delivered split - on one occasion having lost a considerable amount of seed in a trail from the van to the front door.

Birds seem Very please with quality of seed. Came in large strong plastic bag and boxed. Quick delivery so would purchase again

Good quality bird food far better than pets at home stuff.

Good value for a high quality bird seed. The bonus is that it also in. cludes other yummy foods that the birds love. My birds love it and at the end of the day ( sometimes before then ) not a scrap is left

A great seed mix, birds were eating it within 30 seconds of it being served. The wheat grain feeds up the pigeons quickly, this leaves the other seeds for the smaller birds.

So, it’s an ok food and the birds do eat it but it is pretty much the same as the seed I usually buy which is about £6 cheaper. Thought it might be different as it looked very pink in the picture ( like it had suet in it or something) but was just plain birdseed. It arrived quickly and was wrapped in black plastic so the bag did not split. It was a bit less dusty than the usual seed I buy but I won’t be buying any more of this.
