Good Product
Blade is very thin and flexible, so will wander if you try to cut wood so care is needed. I use it to cut plugs, dowels and the blade being flexible helps this type of work. Blade has teeth on both slides and these are sharp

Sharp cuts for tight spaces
So far have used for trimming dowels flush into furniture, and taking pvc blinds down to length. Very versatile being such a thin and accurate blade, and makes light work of things in hard to reach areas. If only the blades were easier to source for replacements. Good build quality and comfort in the hand, as you would expect from the fatmax range.

Very sharp and super flexible.
Everything of the quality you would expect from a Stanley FatMax tool, but some form of blade guard would have been appreciated.

Flush means flush
Really impressed with this. The blade is incredibly flexible and fine toothed. gets a really close cut. I used it initially for cutting down pocket hole plugs. Usually decent quality you expect from Stanley and comfortable handle too

Neat finish
I bought this to flush trim dowels etc. So far it has cut through 10mm walnut dowels and trimmed down some pine filler pieces on my worktop. The blade is very flexible and sharp and flush trims nicely. It is small enough to get into tight spaces. You do need to be careful to not scratch the wood around the cut by keeping the blade as flat as possible. I would advise putting some paper around your cut area to lift the saw teeth slightly off the wood, although as you will usually sand down even a flush cut dowel etc it may be unnecessary. For the money an excellent bit of kit.

Ok product but no affordable replacement blades
I’ve been using this for almost exactly a year now, for the price it’s pretty good - sharp out the box, easy enough to use, makes quick and clean cuts, and the handle is reasonably ergonomic with decent grip. Does a good job of flush cuts, also pretty good for finer cuts (dovetails, tenons etc) - with relatively little practice you can make accurate straight cuts. Durability was pretty good, blade lasted a fair while but is getting dull - this is after a year of semi-frequent use on a mix of soft and hardwoods. This brings me to my main gripe - replacement blades cost more than the tool itself. When I buy a product that has consumable parts, I expect them to be reasonably available and priced proportionately to the product. Otherwise why bother even making the blade removable? Frankly I feel it’s misleading to advertise replacement blades when it makes zero economic sense to buy them. Overall this is a decent product and fairly good value compared to similarly priced items - 3 stars feels a bit harsh but can’t bring myself to give it more as replacement blades really should be available.

Nice price, great tool, Stanley made a safety pouch 👍🏻
This is very sharp and the teeth are like little spikes, the blade bends so you can get right flat and into the item you are sawing off. The price was excellent and so made my decision to buy it. The only down side is that Stanley need to make a safety pouch for it as it’s so sharp, I would of paid a bit extra for that too. I have a wooden tool box which I made so I’m now trying to fit it in a place where I don’t put my fingers and then end up with plasters on them 😂👍🏻

New blades cost more than the saw!!!!
Awesome had 8 years of regular use I liked it so much I used it for regular cuts as well not giving it 5 stars as replacement blades are almost 30 quid while a new saw with handle is £12. Not sure how it makes sense . Will be getting a new one rather than a replacement blade.
