A really good little keyboard!
This keyboard has a great, solid keyboard feel. I have average-sized male hands and while it feels a little tight when typing a long document, it is still comfortable. I love all the keyboard shortcuts included! There are a few keys that must do triple duty (shift, normal or control key combos) but I found a way around many of them: settings>genera>keyboard>text replacement let me eliminate most of the times I need to use apostrophes, for example, and I also came up with a question mark workaround that way. The hyphen and quotation marks still need to use the control key, but didn't take me long to learn to do that more or less automatically. This is literally the only thing I can criticize about the keyboard. I've had a lot of iPad keyboards over the years and this one is the best one I've used (besides the Magic Keyboard on a Pro). I also love the fact that this can be used in either landscape or portrait mode (!) The magnets when using the keyboard are adequately secure, and when in "carry" mode it is very secure, as there is more contact with the back cover. The screen angles one can get are very useful and practical. It doesn't move around on the table. As another reviewer wrote, charge it before setting it up (takes 1-2 hours). The weight is only 5 ounces more than a standard protective cover, and the bulk is the same. The tiny bit of extra weight is worth it IMHO, and is less than nearly all others and much less (and more convenient) than carrying a separate folding keyboard. The weight including the iPad Mini is only 1 pound 3 ounces (the iPad weighs a little over 10 oz by itself). This feels very much like an Apple product, and is definitely worth the $50.

Closest to Magic Keyboard
Pro:Its the thinnest lightest keyboard available for ipad mini. All the others were bulky and heavy. This has great quality build and keys. You can take it off the case easily. Strong magnets hold ipad in place. Cons: I wish the closing would be better. Often the magnets won’t close the case all the way but its not terrible. I wish there was a version with track pad but there isnt room given the mini size. A track pad would also make the case too heavy. The angle of the kickstand could be better. Magic keyboard has a frontward facing angle but again this is minor. Overall: great price, good quality, and lightest keyboard with sleek look and great keys on the market. This is the best you can make it given ipad mini small size.

Good quality. But know if you can type with a very small keyboard
Pros: Great built quality. They made this keyboard case almost as thin as any magnetic case without a keyboard. The magnets to hold the ipad mini in place are actually stronger than two magnetic folios I tested. Build quality is also better than two other magnetic cases I tested. Con: Too small for me. My hands are on the small side already. Unfortunately I make more mistakes with it than the onscreen keyboard. If it hadn’t been the added weight of the keyboard, I would have kept it just as a case. It holds the ipad in mire securely than two other magnetic cases I tested.

Okay option given the size constraints
I bought this primarily so I could log into a server over SSH. Unfortunately, the positioning of most of the special characters and lack of an Escape key makes this very difficult. I’d probably be better served by a separate folding keyboard that’s not so limited in size that these keys need to be repositioned. I’m sure it works just fine for writing essays and the like though. The small keys haven’t been an issue and I’m mostly able to touch type regular English text. I say “mostly” because it’s annoying to use quotation and question marks or write contractions given where those keys are located. I had to look it up twice while typing this. I’m not a huge fan of the texture of the case, which also doesn’t close completely flat. The magnets could also be a lot stronger. This is especially pronounced in portrait mode, where a small touch at the top of the iPad is enough for it to tip over.

Disconnects a lot and is ultimately unusable
Visually this case is as slick as it comes and I was in love with it immediately. Unfortunately though it kept disconnecting from my ipad after a minute or two of use. And it kept triggering the on-screen keyboard to pop up on my ipad as well. Just to be sure, I connected my bluetooth apple keyboard to my ipad and sure enough it didn't trigger the on-screen keyboard or disconnect or have the same issues. So I know that it was specifically this keyboard case. It's also very small. Like...really small. I'm 5 foot 4, so my hands aren't exactly massive, and this keyboard was way too small for me to get used to. I can no longer use it because the keyboard wont stay connected, and the on-screen keyboard popping up is super annoying. I even charged it with the provided cable and it made no difference in performance, making it unusable.

Great, sleek Bluetooth keyboard
Great little keyboard. Bluetooth connection is strong. The charging cable is magnetic. Adjustable angle for view. I like being able to switch between keyboard and emojis. Some of the commands/shift keys are different from a traditional qwerty keyboard. Bluetooth Charges last a long time. Also no real protection if dropped. Be careful, if the product is fully opened (flipped all the way over) the keyboard will not work - see last photo. I mistakenly returned it the first time bc I thought it was broken. Just user error.

I understand why this is a highly returned item…
I bought this keyboard folio because it was recommended by a YouTube influencer. When I saw that Amazon had labeled it as a highly returned item, I was hesitant, but ordered it anyway. It’s made fairly well and it fits the iPad mini well, but there are some drawbacks to this keyboard that will make a lot of people return it. I have smallish hands and the keyboard is very cramped. Now, I’ll say that this is for the iPad mini, so you are not going to get a full size keyboard in such a small footprint, but they made some choices that made the keyboard even less usable. The space bar is very small and that is the biggest downside to me. They could have sacrificed the command and option key on the right to allow for a bigger space bar or made the up arrow key set on the right smaller. Another big downside for me is the charging cord is proprietary so if you lose it, you will not be able to charge the keyboard. Not only that, but you cannot close the keyboard and charge it. The contacts are on the upper right of the keyboard and the charging end has to make magnetic contact there and it’s too bulky to close the keyboard so you need to lay it open to charge. The keyboard has nice scissor type keys so the feel of the keyboard is good, but you’ll have to do some finger gymnastics when typing to get the results you want. I kept hitting the command key instead of the space bar. Overall it’s nicely made folio and it will do in a pinch, but you are probably better off getting a foldable portable keyboard that give you more space for the keys, like the iClever foldable keyboard. The tiny space bar and some other keyboard choices in addition to the proprietary charging cable make it so I can’t recommend this keyboard to anyone. Your mileage may vary.

5 star customer service with the quality product
I’ve never left the feedback on any product I’ve purchased but I really want to share my experience with the support team - it’s the best customer service experience I’ve ever received! I’ve purchased the item back in September and the device wasn’t charging up after 5 months in use. I’ve contacted the support team to see if there is anything I could do or try to get it to work. They responded less than 12 hours and sent me the different unit without any extra cost! The reason I’ve reached out to the support team is I really liked the unit; it’s slim and sleek with soft keystroke unlike other products I’ve tried. I’ve read other reviewers that the keyboard is a bit small but it’s expected given the size of the iPad - this is for iPad mini, not the full size iPad!

Great accessory for iPad mini (although the product is different from the display pic)
Received a different model. But works very well. The keyboard has mousepad and key size is just perfect. I can work on ppts and excels comfortably. The keyboard is easy to detach. Must have for ipad mini. There is a slot for pencil to charge.
