Very Good Product
Why did you choose this product over others?: Decent value for money. Worked effectively. Used to separate wash hand basin from a shower panel ( used panels for wall cladding). Tested the product first and no damage to the shower panel. Applied to silicone sealant round back of basin. Followed instructions as to how long to leave. Silicone scraped off panel and basin easily using plastic scraper. Easy to use and no mess.

Good product. Did the job.
I used this on old sealant around the edge of my bath to prepare for new tiles. The tube isn’t very large but you do need a gun for this. I didn’t have one so just pushed the inside along with a piece of wood. (Probably not ideal) I covered the sealant and left it overnight. The next morning I washed it off using a bathroom sponge and it came off straight away. There were a few bits left which I manage to get off with a blade. All in all it’s a good product and did what I expected it to do.

Doesn't go far.
Works but doesn't go far. Tube is half the size as a normal silicone tube which is expected but you don't get much removal. Does work well where it meets contact.

Surprisingly good.
I have always used silicone remover with some reluctance due to very varied results. However I have to say this BOND IT product is the best so far. However I did try a different approach this time. I cut some of the old silicone away first an idea suggested to me} and then applied the BOND IT and left it for 48 hours. The result was better than any product I have used before. Wiped away with little effort. The only down side is the cost for the quantity supplied, it is very expensive.

Good Product
This is a good product. It is easy to apply and it does the job of getting sealant off easily. Would recommend this. Was cheaper when I bought it, but still worth it to save fingernails and patience. Just make sure you don't wash it off onto any other sealants, it will remove them too, even when diluted by water.

Absolutely useless, just massive mess to clear up!
Absolutely useless and created more work. This gel did nothing to remove the remaining old silicon from my shower, it left on overnight and just left a massive gelatinous mess that took ages to remove (and many rolls of kitchen towel? in order to get a clean, dry finish ready for new silicon. Buy one of the manual silicon removal tools must better finish all round!

Worked wuite well
I applied this silicone remover generously and left it for about eight hours. It melted off a lot of the old silicone although not all. However some work with a scraper got the rest off. It is a far better product than one I used before. One thing - it has to be applied with a cartridge gun but didn't supply the nozzle applicator to screw in. I took one off of something else.
