Review: Great for TMJ and facial massage - I’ve been very happy with this device. With daily use, the massage feature has helped a lot with my TMJ and jaw tension. It’s also compact, easy to handle, and the battery lasts a long time. I personally mostly use the massage attachment. The red light feels a little weak to me, so I don’t really use that feature much. But for facial and jaw massage, it works really well and that alone makes it worth it for me.

This happened after only 1 month and 10 days of use, and I wasn’t even using it every day. In addition, I bought this device on an installment plan through Tabby and haven’t finished paying for it yet, but it has already broken. The return period is only 2 weeks, which makes the situation even more frustrating. Considering the high price of the product, a one-month lifespan is far too short. I kindly ask you to review my case and consider either a refund or a repair.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does this exfoliate?**
A: There is a silicone cleansing brush attachment and could do very mild exfoliation but I see it more as a basic mechanical cleanser. I personally find chemical exfoliation (enzyme masks, AHA toners, BHA toners) more effective than physical brushes.

**Q: Does the seller keep 50% of the purchase price if you decide to return the item? This is an expensive item, would be risky to purchase if so.**
A: If you purchase from Theragun, no they will fully refund you if you decide to return within the return window. I cannot speak for other sellers. I also did NOT return mine, but did click through the process of returning it to see and it said I would get the full price + tax back. I added a video showing this. (I almost did not purchase because I read those reviews as well, but Amazon has always gone above and beyond whenever I had issues so I decided to go ahead and purchase!)

**Q: before and after image of the eyes: what was used? just the light?**
A: None of the lights should be used around your eyes. Per my ophthalmologist this can cause vision changes.

**Q: Can I use this on my eyelids?**
A: I don't think it specifically addresses this anywhere (I don't have the manual in front of my so I could be wrong), but I do use the cone shaped percussion tip around my entire eye area on the lowest setting. I get a lot of puffiness in my eyes and hold a lot of tension there so I love it for this. So again, I can't say for sure if it is meant to be used on eyelids, but I have used it there. Hope this helps!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Like turning back the clock by 10 years!

Easily, the Theraface Pro is one of the best purchases I made for myself because it improved my appearance AND helped me get "out of my head." Because I am a highly cerebral person (due to my job and upbringing from childhood through grad school), I often spend a lot of my waking life "thinking" about the past and future rather than living in the moment, so when I have my daily rituals of massaging my face and using the microcurrent treatment, I redirect a lot of the "energy" in my head and brings my awareness back to the present. The percussive, infrared, and microcurrent therapies seem to stimulate collagen production and release tension (at least, they claim; I don't know the science), so I feel as if I turned 10 years younger after treatment. Admittedly, I don't know exactly how the treatments work at the physiological level, but I have only had good results from using this device. Even after days when I eat more carbs or sodium (when my face usually retains more water and looks puffier), I often use the percussive and microcurrent therapies, which help activate my facial muscles and "redistribute" a lot of fluid in the face, so my face looks much better defined. Although it might sound shallow, when I see that my face is more contoured, and that my skin is brighter, my mood is 10 times better. I know that the price is steep, but it is worth it!
