The process involved removing the caliper, flip upside-down, remove cotter pin, remove old pads, install the new pads , install new cotter pin (3 provided - just in case) and remount your caliper. The whole process takes just a few minutes. As expensive as the maintenance on an MTB can be, it important to become a bit self sufficient so the hobby does not put you in the poor house. Swapping brakes pads should be on your list of DIY upkeep.

Installed these on the Shimano MT201 Hydraulic Brakes on my Polygon Siskiu D7SE. Easy to swap out the pads and there was a immediate major improvement in stopping power. The process involved removing the caliper, flip upside-down, remove cotter pin, remove old pads, install the new pads , install new cotter pin (3 provided - just in case) and remount your caliper.
