I was skeptical that these would add value vs a standard set of nippers. Unironcially, if you build plastic models - gundom, wargames, historical - get these. they cut things from the sprue so much more cleanly that it saves you several minitues of cleanup per part. The first sprue you trim with these you'll be like "whoa, I was screwing up not getting these sooner" As a word of warning: they're very fine. you can't use them for misc. pliers or on pewter models. You'll still want your regular set for certain large parts or the big, thick part of sprue. Basically these are a perfect tool for the specific task of trimming plastic model parts. If you do other things with them and use them as "general" snips on things like wire you will probably damage them - the blade is very fine. I attached a picture of a 28 mm infantry scale weapon (pretty small part), it's a 40k gun drone gun if you want to look it up for scale) The FRONT burr, on the barrel side, is from my OLD clippers. the back burr, the one you literally cannot see, is from this product. Get these, take care of them, sue them for what they're for and don't beat them up and you won't regret the spend.

These nippers have very fine edges meant for light work. I used them for cutting shrink tube (which is thin plastic shown in the photo) to size and further small nips at either end to place the tube over a wire bundle. It produced precision cuts easily. The grips are comfortable and non-slip. Included in the package was a cover to protect the cutting mechanism. The nippers are a useful bench tool I’ll use when trimming plastic cable ties, and for removal as they’re often cinched very tight around a bundle and I need something that can fit in that space without damaging the wires. Overall quality is good and I’m satisfied with performance.
