i bought this two years ago still using it to this day. no issues and in the long run the cost saves you way more. the charge it holds is insanely long it lasts days without having to switch them out and I use my controller A LOT. though I will say if you're gonna get this might as well just get rechargeable double AA batteries because you can use those for more things. now I have both!

Bought this to replace a first-party Xbox Charge & Play battery. Decided to give a third-party option a chance. I picked this brand because it works exactly like the official kit; conveniently recharges internally via the controller's integrated USB-C port. Unlike most other third-party battery packs, there is no need to swap anything out: no specialized charging dock, no specialized battery port cover or other adapters. The option to charge the battery pack directly (without a controller or dock) isn't something I would need, but it's a nice feature to have. The included cable was also a nice bonus. Very good quality build. Feels & weighs the same as the first-party battery by Microsoft. Looks exactly the same, aside from branding and the additional USB port on the third-party battery. My official Xbox Charge & Play battery lasted 13 months with heavy use before it fatigued to the point it wouldn't work. For a two-pack at this price, I would expect at least six months of life out of each battery. But I am hoping to be pleasantly surprised. Even if these TWO batteries last as long as a ONE first-party battery, this is a good value-- especially if you need two packs for two controllers. Certainly less expensive & more convenient than buying single-use AA batteries or swapping out other rechargeable cells. Five stars so far. I will update my review when the first pack has run its course, or if something goes wrong. EDIT: Two years later, the first pack is still working great as long as we're prudent about recharging between sessions.

These charge quickly and last a while, but the fit in a Series X controller is a little off. They still work once seated properly. Battery life and charge time are both solid. Overall good deal for the price.

Good size, tight fit but it's a plus because I lost the battery cover for the controller, love that I can charge in place.

These batteries are made from quality materials and does not feel cheap at all. The battery life lasts just as long as the official ones, perhaps even longer. There is even a type-c port with an LED indicator on the battery to charge the battery outside of the controller. I am also really impressed with the charging cable that came with the kit, the LED indicator on both sides of the cable means I can easily glance at anything that's charging to see if its fully charged, from my controller, headset, earbuds, or anything with a type-c charging port, thank goodness for type-c! Overall, good quality kit, feels premium, works just as well if not better than official, and the charging cable is surprisingly nice, easy 5 stars.

I've had these for a couple years now. Stellar battery life! A full charge lasts me a few weeks of light/moderate gaming or a week of heavy use. Compatible with both Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S controllers. Can't recommend them enough!

I’ve been using these for over a year now, and they’ve been really solid. Biggest thing for me is just not having to deal with replacing the batteries all the time; that alone makes it worth it. They work exactly as advertised and are very easy to use. Just plug a USB-C cable straight into the controller to charge, which is super convenient. I often just charge while playing and it’s been completely hassle-free. Battery life is actually good; easily lasts through long gaming sessions. Charging is fairly quick too, so I’ve never really had to wait long. I’ve been using them with my Xbox Series S controllers and haven’t had any issues at all. Works perfectly both wired and wireless. Using these on the controllers to play on my PC. Can charge via a USB type A or type C port on your PC/ laptop. Overall, after a year of use, they’ve proven to be reliable and just make things a lot easier. Definitely worth it if you’re tired of swapping batteries.

I may be speaking too soon but this product impressed me with its quality. The rechargeable batteries look and feel very solid. They fit perfectly and are easy to remove. The battery compartment can be closed with them inserted (this may seem obvious but in all the photos I saw the cover was missing, leading me to think that it was not the case). The included braided cable is equally impressive. The LED to let you know that it’s charging (orange) and when it’s fully charged (white) is a nice touch. The batteries can be charged through the controller’s USB-C port. This is not true of all third party rechargeable batteries for Xbox controllers, making it another impressive feature. I recommend these over the Microsoft offering. I believe they offer better value and, by some accounts, last longer.

We bought the rechargeable battery set after we got a new xbox. The controller uses normal batteries and we were going through them way too fast. The rechargeable pack is perfect because we can have one on charge while the other is being used, or we can have the charger hooked up while playing. The cord is a good length and the battery pack fits perfectly in the compartment, meaning the cover still fits over the top. We have a white controller, so I was really pleased that we can cover the black battery pack and it doesn't look out of place.

As the title say I have bought the original Xbox battery and it is CRAP. Lasted 2 months and then would no longer hold charge. So far these have been great. I haven’t needed to recharge yet, still showing max power after quite a bit of use. So based on that alone I’m pretty happy. But however these turn out they have to be better than the official rubbish that Microsoft and Xbox sell !!!! Seriously imo the person responsible for the original and official Xbox branded one should be in jail. In contrast these ones seem fantastic.

Got 2 batteries and a cable for just over $30, can't argue with the price. The lifespan of the batteries is yet to be proven but for the price Its still a win. The USB cable is really long and very handy. Build quality of all items seems good.
