OLUKAI Mens Nohea Mesh

As a person who is on their feet a lot for work I need a comfortable shoe. Laced shoes usually do the job but then I have to retie them ever so often, which is annoying. I decided I wanted a pair of slip-ons and also something that I could wear in the summer without socks. These shoes have really great reviews and are also stylish enough that it doesn't look like I am going to the beach everyday. So far, after a few days of wearing them 10+ hours a day I have no complaints at all with comfort. I do see that if my feet weren't as wide at they are that I might have had to go down a 1/2 size or more, but I love the loose feel that they have on my feet and since I don't plan to run a marathon in them I don't see the point as why some people want them to be tighter. One possible issue for some people is the insert is a bit arched and if you have flat feet then you may want to change out the insert. Another thing is that in this color ( black-black) has a red insert and the dye leaches out on to my socks. So if you wear these with white socks you're gonna have red soles at the end of the day. I suspect this will diminish over time though, or I could just wash them and the excess dye with probably go away. In summary, these are great shoes and they're so easy to take on and off. Yay for no laces!

These shoes are great. They are by far the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned and they hold a up really well. I went to Bangladesh for 2 and a half months during monsoon season wearing only these shoes everyday and they still feel as comfortable and look as new after a little wash as when I first got them. Would definitely recommend them. They are very porous though so in the rain your foot will get wet, they do dry quickly though.

I love these shoes. Due to arch problems, I tend to purchase Birkenstocks and New Balance foot wear. I love Birk sandals, but am not too fond of their closed toe shoes. I had learned about Olukai, and needed to check them out. I'm so glad I did. In regards to this particular pair (Olukai Nohea mesh, dark shadow) the top is a gray color. At times on my computer monitor, they looked more bluish, but I saw them in person at a store, and they are more gray. I tried them on at the store. I usually wear a 9 or 10 men's shoe. These were definitely better as 9's. I had also tried a similar pair on at the store (a tan leather pair) they were better as size 9's as well. I had purchased them from the store. As I wore them around the house, and going out to run errands for a few days, I realized that these are really comfortable shoes for me, so I decided to purchase these as well for a trip I'm going on. They are good with or without socks.

These are nice summer shoes. The arch is a little high and it actually rubbed my sole a little bit (irritatingly) the first few times I wore them. The mesh is cool and breathes. They are a tad loose, but might be better with socks (which I have not tried). All in all, a sporty summer deck shoe that you can throw on and wear comfortably.

I love these shoes and actually have two pairs. True to size, excellent quality, and non marking. Look great with shorts and no socks, jeans, khakis (the tan color shoes). Wear mine out anywhere, including the boat. They dry very quickly. When they get dirty you just hose them off. Don't wear them around a camp fire, I had an ember land on one and burnt a small hole through it. Not the shoe's fault! Awesome, and will buy again in the future.

The other reviews said buy at .5 to 1 size smaller. I bought mine at .5 smaller and it was still way too big. I would suggest 1.5 if you plan bare foot, 1 if you plan on wearing socks. Other than that, the shoes does look very nice. Not sure about the feel since I only tried it on for size and didn't actually use it.

This is my 7th OluKai, and 3rd Nohea of these. It is very comfortable to wear, provides great comfort, and very durable. I am buying this pair to back up another pair of the same shoes which I wear for the last three years as an everyday walking shoes. Its a bit slippery on the wet surface, though. A few years ago OluKai had the Moloa Kohana fall model which offered leather water-resistant top, but it is no longer available. Wish it was...

It is really, really hard for me to find shoes that I like and that are comfortable, since I have wide, flat feet, resembling a platypus snout, if you believe my wife. Anyway, these shoes are soft and compliant and easy to slip on and off and they are really quite comfortable. These are summer-wear items; they will not do in cold weather. I found that adding a double-thick padded insole made them even more comfortable.

Ok. Not as comfortable as I was hoping.

Super comfortable shoe, breathable while still having good support for the foot. I like the removable insole that allows them to become a true water shoe. That being said, I typically wear a 10.5/11 in most shoes. Reading some other reviews, they mentioned the shoes as short so I stuck with an 11 despite Olukai's suggestion to drop for half sizes. This was a mistake, the 11 was huge on my feet! I'd say to even drop a full size on these. Returns were a hassle as Olukai apparently manages their own inventory meaning these aren't available for Amazon's standard exchange program and have to be fully returned to Olukai and inspected before a refund is issued (7 business days later...).

I have other OluKau models that are all 9.5 and fit comfortably, but these ones seem too short. My toes were hitting the front of the toe box and they seemed more like a size 9, so I'm returning them and getting a different model that I've had before.

These are great shoes. They are more expensive than some, but are very comfortable and last a long time.

Amazing shoes. So glad I purchased these as they are so comfortable, easy to put on and feel great. I have their slippers as well and I’m hooked on these for life, just wish I’d found Olukai sooner!
