This is a replacement of the same make and model of printer calculator I purchased on Amazon in 2014 for $14.00. I am familiar with the functions (though this new version omits the HOURS WORKED function key but I just divide minutes by 60 in a separate calculation before multiplying by the pay rate). The original calculator was functional except for one number refused to display on the screen but it would print onto the tape so that is how I used it; always printing on the tape. That was until I tried to “fix” it after watching a Youtube video.My attempt at repair didn’t fix the read-out and ruined the FEED function of the tape on which I depended. What I am trying to say is the first Canon P23 needed replacement for reasons not its fault. I am happy to find this calculator and but it and use it because it is familiar, prints well and has clear print. I wouldn’t have been as happy if I hadn’t given a different model printer calculator to my friend for Christmas that prints a double space between each entry and requires a reel-to-reel ink tape that never prints dark enough; even with a fresh reel. So I appreciate this Canon P23 greatly. I wish I had gifted this to my friend. This Canon P23 is great!

Been using this for over a year...no problems with the machine. Paper is easy to load.

Actually I had almost the same exact one 15yrs ago, so when my current one finnally bit the dust I found this on Amazon and brought back memories. The cost was inline or cheaper than other competitors, easy to use, great for home finances, buttons spread out and raised. Also you can't beat the the brand name!
