I will probably need a flap between the boat and motor to address that issue but this stingray dramatically reduced cavitation. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ East fit and nice design *by B***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on July 30, 2023* I like this hydrofoil design, it’s easy to fit especially being a single fin design and it feels very rigid and I like the size compared to others I’ve used previously. If you’ve not fitted one before make sure to offer it up first making sure everything is symmetrical before marking and drilling anything, paying close attention to the fixing holes in relation to the edges of the cavitation plate and any anodes or water intakes on the underside of the cavitation plate. I fitted this one to a 15hp Yamaha and had to move it forward a little further than expected to avoid the anode and still allow a 10mm clearance from the edge of the fixing hole. Looking forward to some half decent weather now to test it.EDIT: I’ve now had it in the water and can confirm it was a great purchase. I found I had to re-trim the outboard so once set it worked very well. It definitely gets on plane quicker and improves responsive of the engine.
