We buy things in anticipation to use when we need them right? I bought this months ago & finally tried it. Does not get hot! Not even barely warm! I put some water in to see if that would help? Did not. Do not expect this to work! Maybe the size? Do not waste your $. Wish I tested it out sooner. Useless.

First of all, it is NOT a steamer. No steam comes out... the metal plate gets very hot and definitely could work as a very small iron, but I bought it thinking it would be a good travel size steamer for clothes. Nope. The water in the little reservoir leaks out and drips everywhere (mind you, I was trying to use it as a steamer, so was holding it vertically, as one would a steamer). I threw out the box/packaging so won't return it, but am pretty disappointed overall.
