I recently tried the Design Essentials Oat Protein and Henna Deep Cleansing Shampoo, and it has quickly become a staple in my hair care routine. This shampoo is designed to provide a deep cleanse while promoting fuller, thicker, and stronger hair. Key Benefits: • Deep Cleansing: This shampoo effectively removes buildup and residue, leaving my scalp feeling refreshed and my hair clean. • Strengthens Hair: The combination of oat protein and henna works to strengthen hair strands from the inside out, reducing breakage and promoting healthier hair. • Adds Volume: It adds noticeable volume to my hair, making it look fuller and more vibrant. • Gentle Formula: Despite its deep-cleansing properties, the formula is gentle enough for daily or weekly use and is suitable for all hair types. Application Tips: • Apply a quarter-sized amount of shampoo to wet hair. • Lather and massage into the scalp. • Rinse thoroughly and repeat if necessary. Overall Experience: The shampoo has a pleasant scent and lathers well, making the cleansing process enjoyable. My hair feels light, bouncy, and more manageable after each use. Plus, it’s free from sulfates, which is a big plus for maintaining the health of my hair.

Great! Take your hair care serious!
Saved my hair. design essentials is what people start using when they start caring about their hair fr. My stylist saw a difference in like 2 months of me using it. And my Revair to prevent breakage during blow drying.

Love it and the smell!
I use this on my Locs. A little goes a long way! Lathers up real nice. You have to use all three products as Damien Walters says for it to work. Yes you need to condition your locks!! I do notice the difference when my hairdresser doesn’t use it. My stylist doesn’t want me to use conditioner as it unravels my locs some (which it does, but once your hair is locked it’s locked, yes it’s more work for the stylist to go through and section and part, but just charge a little more if it means your clients will have healthy locks. But as he says use very little of it and work it into your hair, because your hair needed moisturization (his word) prior to locking so it will still require it when you’re locked. I now just wash and condition my locs myself prior to getting re twisted. I’m at an agree to disagree, because I did notice a big difference in my re twist when I had my stylist wash it and only the oat Protein & Henna was used vs me washing it twice with that, twice with the Honey Cre’me, and a palm size amount of Rosemary & Mint conditioner then under the dryer for 15 minutes. Should be longer but I personally don’t sit that long. Some said it makes their hair hard, but I haven’t experienced that. First two pictures are a day after a re twist. Third picture is two days after a re twist with using just one product. Last picture is of all the line that I use. It’s worked for me so far in the 4 months that i’ve been on my journey and that’s all I can say about it. Good luck.

Great Shampoo, Bad Pump
The shampoo works great. No complaints about the product. It cleanses without stripping. However , the pump does not work. This is a problem. The product is already $30. I had to buy empty pump bottles to transfer the shampoo. Design Essentials please do something about this.

Clarifying, Strengthening & Hair-Loving!
This shampoo is fantastic for both relaxed and natural hair! It deeply cleanses without stripping moisture, leaving my hair feeling fresh, soft, and manageable. I love that it’s sulfate-free — my hair feels stronger and healthier after each wash. The oat protein and henna blend really seems to strengthen my strands and add natural volume. It lathers nicely and rinses out easily, giving my hair a clean, revitalized feel without dryness. If you want a shampoo that clarifies, strengthens, and keeps your hair healthy and voluminous, this is a must-try!
