Can I mill corn?

I make beautiful corn flour and corn meal at all grind sizes.  I'm grinding Mexican landrace flint maize, very large, hard kernels.
What I do is adjust the mill to grind very coarse, 1/16" pieces or so, what comes out is a mix of coarse flour and chunks and pieces of the clear pericarp (hull) from the corn.  I run that through a coarse screen to remove the hulls, then I grind it a second time as fine as I want it.  As with any grain I can grind it finer than talcum powder or as coarse as I want.  I'll often combine 2 or more grind levels of corn or a given grain- fine to produce gluten and crumb with a little coarse ground for texture.
Cornbread made with freshly milled cornmeal and freshly milled wheat is something you can't imagine until you taste it.  If you've been baking cornbread from a boxed mix and/ or using stale, dried out pre-ground cornmeal, freshly ground will blow your mind.  The fragrance while it's baking alone is worth the price of the mill and the effort to grind your own.

You don’t need to take the cover off as was stated by another person. Just move the lever to a coarser setting, loosen the lever and move in the opposite direction, tighten and move to coarser setting again. Very easy to do.

Do mockmill 200 grind dry spices like whole redchilliies with coriander seeds??

it is good for grinding any non oily spices...personally, I would clean the stones after something that could leave a residue that would affect the taste of whatever you are grinding next.

Can I use this mill to make flour from dried chestnuts?
