I love the look of the staff as well as the length which feels just Right, I was slightly disappointed about the fact it's 3 flimsy plastic tubes pulled together too create a staff with little to no internal structure making me worry about it breaking if I plant it on the ground hard in an impressive wizardly way. However it serves its purpose well while being relatively cheap.

The dragon staff looks OK, it is not as cheap looking as I feared it might be. However, it feels flimsy and the orb only lights up briefly. You press the button and it flickers on for 3-5 seconds at a time. Bummer.

Wonderful item and great with a wizard’s costume

I was pretty disappointed that the staff wasn’t firm when the polls were extended. It was very wobbly. There isn’t a setting to keep the sphere illuminated but a button you have to press that last about 8-10 seconds. About an hour of walking around with it, the sow here completely disconnected from the frame of the staff, exposing all the wires. I was shocked a $40 costume accessory was made so poorly.

We just visited the Renaissance Festival, and my son got SO MANY compliments on this staff! I couldn’t believe it! These were clearly committed, all-in festival goers too. It folds up for easy storage and transportation, and it’s all plastic so I was afraid that might cheapen the look of it but apparently not. Now he’s excited to use it for Halloween too! Thanks for a fun product!

This isn't a bad staff. It makes a great accessory to the Witch/Warlock costume. Granted this is NOT meant to be a walking stick. It had not unfasten on us, but when we are ready to use it, we will use some clear packing tape around the parts that snaps together.

We are very disappointed with the quality of this item. It is absolutely not worth the price you pay - especially considering it’s not eligible for free shipping. Starting from the bottom up, the rod is made up of lightweight plastic that is easily scratched. It comes in 3 separate pieces (with one attached to the dragon embellishment- more on that below). The pieces join precariously by sticking into equally thin plastic cylinders. *If* we decided to keep it I’ll have to either glue them together or hope my 11 year old remembers to hold it by the joint, otherwise it can come apart. As for the orb/dragon at the top, both are flimsily constructed. The glue (if there ever was any) did not hold and the orb fell out bringing much of the wiring with it. I’ve done my best to tuck the wires back in, but I’m not sure if the orb will stay put with glue for you see the dragon is made of some sort of rubber/pliable plastic. But why should a customer have to fix a product they’ve purchased in good faith? We hoped that we would receive an improved version and we were wrong. Why hasn’t this issue been resolved when clearly there is a pattern of deficiency? One can only conclude that the manufacture simply does not care. Save yourself the trouble and don’t indulge them. Don’t buy this product.

This thing is tall as heck. I was not expecting it to be this tall. Its about five feet tall. Maybe a little over that. It is kinda plastic looking, but I wasn't going for some Hollywood set staff. The light up color is more blue than purple, but it still looks cool when it glows. Overall, I enjoyed my purchase.

Staff design of the dragon is great. The rest of the product (purple ball and black shaft) are very cheap plastic looking. the connection of the staff from 3 sections to 1 is very solid. ISSUES - cheap plastic look of the purple ball and black shaft but the dragon figure is great Nice touch with the button to light up the purple ball (orb) but no idea how you would ever change the batteries or if you can in the future as it is buried so far up the shaft that I don't think you can do anything without breaking it.

it finished off my husbands wizard outfit. Our house was voted the best in our village.

Fait son effet. Regrette juste le bouton pour allumer est pas pratique . Un bouton on/off aurait été mieux.

Le bâton est impressionnant par rapport au prix mais le collage du dragon est déplorable : la colle ne tient pas le dragon, fait des marques blanches sur le globe car elle a bavé. Si vous ne souhaitez pas repeindre le globe pour un résultat correct, passer votre chemin.
