These were a gift for my teenage daughter, definitely best for older teens, in my opinion. She's enjoying the stories and gets pretty excited about sharing excerpts. Overall, worth the price.

Shelby Mahurin has created a dark yet humorous world where witches and church hunters are at war. Lou is such a refreshing female lead. She's crude, brave, and unapologetically herself while Reid’s journey of unlearning his prejudices is really well-written. The stakes get higher with each book in the trilogy. Highly recommend for fans of A Court of Thorns and Roses or Six of Crows.
