Update: 1 day after leaving my original review, Seller contacted me and sent copy of their origial responce to replace defective part that went to my spam email. Appologized for problem and immediately asked to send a replacement. Their customer service once the emal issue was resolved is outstanding. Informed me that package had been sent and the day of delivery sent a followup that stated it had been delivered and if I had any further concerns or issues to contact them to make sure I was satisfied. They stood behind their product and delivered as promised. Happy camper here now! Nice when first installed, within 6 months power supply failed. Contacted Mfr to inquire about replacement either under a warrantee or for purchase so I could continue to use the lights. Never got a responce from Mfr so they are still dead. Almost a year since my original purchase, they are expensive paper weights but not cool flood lights.

I initially bought one set for the front of my house but it wasn’t enough. I added a second set and am really happy with the result. The app is super easy to use and I play around with the colors every week or so. I’ve only had them for a month or so but I am very happy with them. I have two little girls and they get a big kick out of them. We change them with whatever holiday or season it is. So far, Mardi Gras (like the photo, Valentine’s Day (red and pink), Presidents’ Day(red, white, and blue, and now, st Patrick’s day. One of them has a weak wifi signal, but it hasn’t affected the performance. I’d recommend them to anyone who wants to add a little color to your house or other project. They’ve also made it through some pretty significant rain storms without issue.

Used these for quite a while in our front home display & they worked fine….until they didn’t. No way to get ahold of anyone, & Amazon support methods leave something to be desired. Just hook me up with the seller for cryin out loud! I have power through out the cord, but the lights don’t come on. The SmartLife app is worthless for debugging…just general connectivity stuff that doesn’t apply to these lights. I fear these are just landfill material unless customer service reaches out to me here.

It works. I wish it came with 8 lights instead of 6 as I couldn’t quite cover the entire front of the house. They are all linked together and only one outlet is needed. Some parts of the app are great and easy to use, other parts are wonky. I still haven’t figured out how to save static colors as a scene and have it automatically select that scene. They have scenes with motion you can set to auto on and off, but with static colors I have to manually set it each night. Maybe someone else knows how to do that and can help me. Get the more expensive 100watt version for better color and brightness you’ll be glad you did. If you have a white house this will look great. This is so much less expensive than the Hue systems. Hopefully it survives the outdoors. I should mention in my photos shown, I only have them turned on at 50% brightness, and I also have yellow halogen downlighting in my sofits.

These are generally great lights. I got a fairly great discount so paid 20% less than the regular price. Here’s just some minor things I noticed. The length between lights is not 10ft. A little under. I had to cut between two of the lights since the length was too short. May be an issue with some but cutting worked for me. The manufacturer strictly states not to cut. I had to run 3 conductors at 16awg. Only 15ft. Weather proofing the connections is required. May not work otherwise. I originally ran 20awg and the four lights at the end wouldn’t turn on. This product is very sensitive to length and wire size if you’re thinking about cutting. Gave a nice professional look to the front of my small modest home. I did need to install an outdoor double outlet on the wall with a large in use cover. Dressed all the wiring in for a clean look. had to also modify the cover since the power pack is longer.

I used two sets of these lights for my Halloween yard display 2023 and here are my thoughts: 1. PRO: The one plug for all 6 lights is convenient, and they are easy to set up with one extension cord. 2. PRO: Very bright, colorful, dimmable, and non-glare glass is great touch. 3. PRO: Weather resistant, cool to the touch, solid light unit and cords. 4. CON: Because they are all connected, putting them away can be a serious nightmare with a tangle of wires. It would have been better if you could unplug the lights from each other. I attempted to be careful and you can see the results in my pic. It took me hours to untangle this mess. 5. CON: The required app is not intuitive or easy to use, and the instructions were written by Google Translate and never run by an actual interpreter. The app has many cool options (a few effects, dimming, endless color choices) that don't work well, and are difficult to set up. You can't save one program to use on another set. You have to start from scratch. It needs A LOT of work and is the Achille's Heel of this set. 6. CON: You cannot connect or control more than one set at a time. If you choose a red color on one set, it might be slightly different on the other set. You can't set specific HEX or RGB codes. 7. CON: While the light unit is solid, the frame and spike that hold it are made of the thinnest, cheapest metal. Both bend easily and began getting rusty after 6 weeks in Northern California (it only lightly rained once). 8. CON: You need solid WIFI & phone to program the lights. If your signal is weak outside, you will face many problems. 9. CON: Had mysterious reboots that cleared out the programming, which had to be corrected (on Halloween night of course). I have some serious reservations recommending this set. In theory it could be an amazing, revolutionary product that simplifies decorating. I hope they work on the app and hire engineers who understand humans and how humans interact with apps. The app really ruins the experience. I also don't know how these will fare over time given the already rusting frames. How easy could it have been to make wires to plug and unplug, or better yet, customize? Maybe a longer wire here, a shorter one there. They could make more money selling wires. Wait for a second or third generation.
