Cattleman’s cut is the Best beef jerky we have ever had. Purchased both original and teriyaki. Entire family commented it was the best they had ever had. Soft but has a slight chew… easy to eat, not tuff, no fat, no gristle.

Best beef jerky I’ve had!! Hands down! I eat a lot of jerky. My uncles make it from every type of animal they can hunt. I buy all the brands on the shelf. I eat jerky non-stop. Jerky is my main food group. This👏🏻is 👏🏻 the 👏🏻 Best 👏🏻 flavor!! 👏🏻 And 👏🏻 best 👏🏻 texture! Perfect amount of jerk vs tenderness. I usually buy the more well known brand in bulk at my local club store to save money. This however is WELL worth the price! I ordered a second bag. My typically well behaved dog ate it ALL, and graciously left me the moisture packet. I’ll be buying a bunch more!! Hopefully my dog can behave himself going forward and I’ll be sure to share with him 😊.

It is very thick and chewy with a good flavor. My one complaint, it is VERY SALTY. It is a great jerky if you don't mind the sodium level.

Great flavor. Best part is it has jerky mouth feel but is easier to chew than most. Has very few tough pieces. Great product.

The jerky has a great flavor but way too salty. I’m one of those people that love salt and it was too much for me. It made my tongue and cheeks raw after eating just a few pieces. Sucks because it would be delicious otherwise.

I haven't eaten a lot of beef jerky for many years but since I quit smoking I find this helps me from grinding my teeth or clinching my jaw. This is the kind of jerky I remember getting. Flavorful, with just the right balance of chewiness. It's not stringy, not tough but doesn't melt in your mouth either. And the flavor lasts the whole time I'm chewing it. It's great jerky! Unfortunately since it is so good I'm eating it faster than I thought I would. lol I'll definitely be buying more, sooner rather than later.

Your hungry and it's to early for a meal, don't want sugary food, so what do you get? Jerky, sounds good, but don't want that nasty, spicy rubbery stuff that claims to be jerky. I've never had real jerky, just the sticks from stores that I really don't like. Saw a youtube video of someone who was sent jerky from the U.S., real jerky, and it looked good enough to eat. Didn't get the name so had to read, and read, and read on all the choices here at Amazon.. Narrowed it down to this brand, reasonable price for the amount, didn't want to waste too much money if we didn't like it. We liked it, hubby had to put it so he would stay out of it. Pros reasonable price, high price doesn't always mean the best, I go with reviews first. Natural, no preservatives, no additives, no fake stuff added. No greasy, slimy feel to it, There is some, but not the bad feel type. Not overwhelming taste, a bit on the spicy side, but we both have some problems so can't handle spicy foods, what would be mild to some would be painful to us. Not so tough it would pull your teeth out when you tried to bite a piece off. There was a time or two it was a bit tough to bite a section off, that it felt stringy, but not enough to make it unacceptable. Cons a tad on the stringy side. sound's contradictive, but for those who don't want any stringy feel at all, it would be important. Older people like hubby and I with our teeth wearing down like a old horse, it was harder to chew on a few pieces. If it had been dry, it would have made it very difficult, but it had enough moisture to help. Amount, this is a common remark, not enough for the price. Since I don't know what all goes into it, cost of fixin's, and other expenses, it is just my opinion. Sizes, some were big pieces that we cut down to what we wanted. Felt there were too many small left over bits that weren't worth picking up. Dogs liked having it added to their supper. We don't have a lot of money to be snobs, so don't go we have to have the best of the best. Cost is as important as taste. This one passed the taste and price test, so ordered more. May try some a bit more expensive later on, but for now, this one will do. I'd recommend it.
