Great Fridge for Overlanding!
The EDHBay 12V/24V 34 Quart (32L) Drawer Refrigerator has been an absolute game-changer for my overland setup! I built a raised bed platform in my Toyota 4Runner, and this drawer-style fridge fits perfectly underneath—like it was made for it. After over a year of full-time use on the road, it’s still running strong without a hitch. Reliable, efficient, and space-saving—this fridge is one of the best investments I’ve made for life on the trail.

A Trip Into The Unknown
Unable to store 90days worth of meds in the fridge, I had to start looking for a better solution. The old dorm room fridges seemed like a good choice but my cheap model put noise on the speakers in the AV-room. My first thought was a small sexy wine cooler but could only find one vendor with temps low enough for my needs. I always thought fridge drawers, like dishwasher drawers were over priced until I found this unit. Not only does this fridge drawer use a DC compressor (way less power than AC) it's much quieter in the room and on the AV room power lines. I evaluated the unit set on a coffee table and the temp range from on to off to on to off had a 8F degree swing - a little disappointing ! Once installed, the temp swing settled in with 4F to 5F. The power cycle seems consistent around 55mins on the warm up "not running dead quiet" and 35mins on the cool down phase of the cycle. I'm monitoring with an "Ambient Weather" temp sensor tossed in the drawer. Also monitored power use during preliminary evaluation with "EmporiaEnergy". Power usage is around 30 watts with old school math showing 1/3 KWH per 24hour day. With my APC UPS1350VA battery backup, I'm guessing to have 24 hours of coverage with a power outage. Sorry to take you on a long trip but it might help with your own questions, things to consider and if this type of solution is right for you. Here are some unknowns that get answered once you open the box: The depth of the unit seems iffy from vendor support statements and pdf spec sheets. Its 29 inches. BUT WAIT... The power connector is on the back and bumps out. Lets call that another inch. My unit included a AC wall power brick that connects to the 12 volt receptacle on the rear. The power plug could be a danger if someone tried to connect it directly to AC since it has a familiar AC connection look. The Temp display is extremely bright. I covered it with transparent tape and marked over it with a sharpy ( color your choice ). I used purple. The drawer seal is as others describe; improvement is needed. My unit seems to pass the paper test at the top but on the bottom the gap increases. I would assume this is because the drawer needs to have a little bit of a incline to promote auto closure ?? I'm thinking some foam or rubber weather seal stripping might help out. Installing it as a second seal on the outside parameter from the original seal. I readjusted the bottom latch-catch for a tighter fit but too tight prevents the catch and maybe too much pressure on a plastic part. Backed it back off. BTW the catch-latch mount from the underside of the unit so add a little more height on your build enclosure should you elect to remove the rubber bumper feet. The unit has four little screwed on feet ( the rubber bumper type ). That can impact your installation measurements (another unknown surprise). The front interface console is connected to the back inside of the drawer with a umbilical cord. This limits complete removal of the drawer for cleaning etc. Wanting a sexy-blue light-see through wine cooler unit, I think this unit was a better choice for my needs. The unit seems built well enough for my weekly visit to the supply cabinet. YMMV.

Product does not stay cool.
Product is to big to go under an RV style couch. To small to hold much and does not stay cool. Not able to leave anything in it as you never know when it will not cool. Buy something else with your money.

So far great
This thing is quiet, cools down fast and holds temperature. We run it in our semi when out for 4 to 5 weeks off the inverter via the standard plug. It does have the ability to run off an accessory plug but I have not used that so cannot speak to its performance. Fits under the bunk nicely. Only critique I have is the handle/locking mechanism. One of the springs had come off it's holder when received. I fixed it but it seems very cheap and will be a failure point in the future, at which point will have to use a side lock or bungee set up of some sort. But for now, all is good.

Great product for small space but consider ventilation
This fit perfectly where I need it (in the back of my van camper). I bought it on November 22, 2024. The thermomostat is slightly inaccurate (by about 8 degrees) but its consistent so I can adapt for that using a supplemental thermometer. For the past few weeks I keep getting an "E4" message, which (Per the troubleshooting guide) apparently means it has some input voltage issues with the compressor. However, I'm using a 3 month old Jackery 1000 and it does this whether it is plugged into shore power (pass through) or on the road (cigarette lighter) or if I'm just using the battery. I can usually reset by unplugging for a few minutes and plugging back in, BUT, its not dependable, so I'm not sure its working if I leave to go work a shift or go for a hike, I might come back to a warm fridge. I went into my order for the advertised "product support" but all I get is a list of items corresponding to the manual, (which I read already). There seems to be no way to escalate to actual product support. So, would someone please reply to this review? I will keep trying to escalate within Amazon and will report back. Product support is pretty important, and its advertised, but beware you might not get it. It worked great for 9 months though, I like the design. UPDATE: I contacted through Amazon and seller replied within 12 hours. Advised to make sure the area around the compressor is clear and has adequate ventilation (it HAS been warmer lately, so this could be an issue). I'm changing things around and hope it works. Thanks.

Flexibility and Convenience
This fridge is nice, I put 5 packs of meat like sausage and steaks for my 3 days camping. I also can put my favorite ice cream cone. It makes me happy because no need to worry about the ice get melt when I use in the cooler. The size is just right and I like it very much and I can adjust the temperature!!!

Nice drawer fridge
Great fridge for overlanding, tailgating, car camping, hockey tournament weekends. I had to install a separate 12 volt outlet in my 100 series land cruiser because the stock outlet wasn’t powerful enough. Easy enough but something to consider. Will also run off a battery generator very efficiently.
