Easy to load and set the flow rate

Great device but allows much too much chlorine to disperse, even with the device fully closed. I siliconed up all aperatures and am opening them one at a time to get to the desired level.

Nice product durability

I was disappointed with this product, since I have understood that it was supposed to include some chemical tablets for the pool, that I bought it first.

I bought this floating chlorine dispenser for a backyard pool on account of the fact I wanted to chlorinate the water to ward off slime, scum, and evil spirits. It worked as expected for the first couple weeks. No slime, scum, or evil spirits. Then one day I looked out at the pool and it was gone. Was it stolen by a neighbor? A chlorine-addicted raccoon? Did it hurtle off into space in some strange momentary reversal of gravity? The answer is no. This dispenser took on water like a doomed British luxury liner and sank out of sight. It didn't even hit an iceberg. Maybe if this thing did the job for a full pool season it would have been somewhat acceptable for the price. But plummeting into the abyss after two weeks at sea? Not cool.

Perfect size for our hot tub. We use the small bromine tablets. It has a selector for the gallon size of your pool or hot tube, so you can easily use the correct amount of chemicals. It even comes with built in tweezers so you don't have to touch the tablets with your fingers.
