Worked great. New stereo had OBD2 input for seeing car data, and I needed to connect a wiring adapter to the OBD2 plug. But on a 2013 FORD FOCUS, this was an impossible situation. I needed to split the one OBD2 port into 2. And this adapter fits inside of the original location perfectly and the other end connects behind the dash to the original OBD2 connector, leaving me with a free end to connect to the stereo. Good price and problem solved.

Strong Obd splinter

I purchased this to run a couple of different accessories off the diagnostic port in my vehicle, and it handles the job perfectly. The overall build quality of this bbfly-B6 OBD2 Splitter is surprisingly nice for the price. The ultra flat cable design is a huge plus because it makes tucking the wires up under the dashboard incredibly easy without getting in the way of my feet. Both of the female ports hold the connectors very securely, so I never have to worry about a bumpy road shaking my scanner or gauge monitor loose while I am driving. The only real drawback I found is the overall reach of the cable itself. At only 1 foot long, it could definitely be a tad longer to give you a few more mounting options. I had to get a little creative with where I zip tied the splitter under the steering column because it barely gave me enough slack to route the wires comfortably. Despite that minor inconvenience, it passes all sixteen pins straight through without any connection issues and is a great solution if you need a reliable Y-cable. It works wonderfully as long as the short length fits your specific setup.

I bought a few of these after some others I tried didn't work with all the accessories. This one DOES have all 16 pins, and they all work. Many of the others were missing the CAN bus lines. Everything works as intended with this, and super easy to install.
