A must have if you work on film/video production
Handy af, built to abuse and last, almost damaged them by tightening them too much so be careful, lots of uses specially when rigging a camera o small lights

Surprisingly well made
I use these on my GoPro, DSLR, and gimbal mounts. They are very versatile and the material is of great quality. I use these for holding mics, lights, and even putting the gopro on the dslr. They are lightweight yet solid. Great buy.

Keeps wind cover for microphone attachment off of Action camera
Saw a YouTube video recommending this for keeping the wind cover of a Sennheiser microphone out of frame when attached to an Osmo Action camera. Works as described and sturdy-feeling.

Unobtrusive
Needed a way to get a cold shoe on an old camera that doesn't have one, and this worked well enough by just moving the threaded piece from the bottom to the top of the adapter. The screw is a little long, but overall this seems to be one of the smallest ways to get the job done.

not easy to set up
The double screw feature is not really ideal as the two knobs are so close it is hard to turn one without the other turning as well, leaves one loose usually. also having no back to the hotshoe sides allows attachments more wiggle room and heavier attachments often wiggle themselves loose
