I have not decided if it will make the cut to my regular pack but so far it has some advantages: Since I switched to a quilt the air mattress shifts on the tent floor and the mat stopped that. Nice for a lie down at lunch or a larger sit mat. Almost weightless. No tears yet but there will be by Summer end. I may cut it so I can use half as a door mat to tent to keep out dirt. Fold over for sit pad. Use as a lounge to sit on ground outside your tent. Sort gear on it to keep gear out of dirt.
