I am so impressed with this his floor system. I purchased 100 ft.² to do my bathroom adjoining laundry room and walk-in closet dressing room I have set the wires on the mesh in the floor leveled the floor with self leveler and had an electrician run the lines before I put the leveler down. it was a simple install I’ve never done one before it was very very easy the hardest part in the thing that I didn’t do that I regret is to draw your design or your layout on paper first probably could’ve been easier I also started midpoint in a room which made it really hard to cover every inch without some really creative flipping of the mats so if you start at the end of a room near where your power is going to be, It will be even easier. I’m so impressed I am going to purchase another two sets I believe, to put in my living room area and also purchase the electric pipe heaters for winter time and maybe some of their other products that make the winter season not so unbearable it came with an amazing thermostat I really like it and although winter is past and it’s becoming spring when I turn on the floor heat I have it programmed my whole house feels warmer mind you I have live in a small cabin on the water where it can get very cold it keeps me so warm. The value of this system the upfront cost the labor that I put into it having the electrical wires done this is An unbelievable value, the thermostat also tells me how many kilowatts I’ve used I’m able to monitor how much power I’m using and adjust my use accordingly the toasty toes in the shower not gonna lie it’s amazing, do it, Buy it this is something everyone should have

I purchased this sensor as a backup to the one that came with my heated floor mat I installed. I ended up going with this one as the primary one because it looked and felt better made than the one that came with it. It’s always a good idea to embed at least a spare sensor in the heated flooring mortar underneath the tiles because if it goes bad you can hook up to the backup without tearing anything out. The sensor is very important because if it isn’t working properly then the thermostat will not turn on and off the heated flooring as needed because it needs the feedback from the sensor. This sensor was easy to install. It is also accurate. I tested it at various times with my fluke temperature sensor and it was spot on with it.

I always install a second temp sensor in case the first one fails. It's super inexpensive insurance for your heated floor

Works as it should, I ran a spare for my bathroom floor just incase the original fails I don't need to rip up our tile floors.
