A good, solid, sturdy light. I like that it has 2 brightness settings, and the high one is very bright - just what I was looking for. It also has a good strong clamp. Charged up with no problems and works like a charm. It cost a little bit more than the others I was looking at, but this is definitely a case of, "You get what you pay for"; a high-quality product which was built to last. I expect I'll be buying a second one in the future for my other location. Also, follow-up from the seller indicates he cares about his customers and stands behind his product. UPDATE: November 26, 2023- Been using the light on my headboard bookcase to lower the ambiance as I ready for sleep. In adjusting it the neck separated from the charging case. I pushed it back in. Then this morning I went to turn it on and the lights blew out, I guess. Oh, well, it HAS lasted since I bought it in 2018. I suppose I just moved it about too much. ————:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: I LOVE this lamp! I machine knit during the winter and need additional clean bright light to be able to see the small knit stitches of finer yarn on the machine bed. Regular house lights cast too many shadows but this light chases that away. What I like especially is that it’s not a harsh glaring bright that some LED lamps produce but more a pure daylight type less the harshness. I spend about 3 hours at a time at my knitting machine making sweaters and the lamp hasn’t dimmed or made any odd sounds or any odd thing. Initial charging was great - the charge light turned green as it was designed to when the lamp was ready. It’s perfect for my needs.

I needed some extra light for my keyboard music rack where I do my daily practicing with the benefit of portability as needed. I use it on it's low setting which I find enough even for larger music books. The coverage is good, although on the larger books, the upper corners are not as bright as the center, but still very readable on low. Battery life is fine, although I have not really given it a thorough test there but I ran it for nearly 30 hours with no sign of dimming. Clip also stays very well even on the thin back of the music rack. There is only one improvement I would make and that's the LED that indicates when it's fully charged--I would put that on the unit itself instead of the plug. 1) The plug is down where it's difficult to see so I have to bend way down to the floor to know if it's charged 2) I have other more convenient USB charging plugs but if I use them, I don't get the benefit of knowing when it's fully charged. If the LED were on the main unit and it also gave me a low battery warning (could use the same LED for that if it were on the unit) before the light starts to dim, this would be 5 stars for sure.

I bought this a year ago and use it almost everyday when I practice playing. It's clipped to my music stand and I love it! Just the right amount of extra light for my music and lasts for several practices before I have to charge the battery, which I can do while it's still clipped to the music stand. I used it for my recital and was so glad I had it with me as the lighting in the church wasn't very bright.

Gives a very bright light, or you can use a dim setting. Does a good job of lighting the entire page. Holds a long charge. Has lasted through many rehearsals.

Great for lighting your DJ board and mixing board in low lighting.

Love mine. Bought one, saw how good it was and ordered two more for the other music stands in my studio. The design is a large part of why they seem so well made. The on-off switch is in exactly the right place. And it works with exactly the right pressure. Clip holds it very securely and the wide LED light surface lights both sides of your song book or both pages of your sheet music. Excellent item, and that's from a tough critic. You won't be disappointed. I can't speak to durability or battery life-recharge cycles, etc, at least not yet, but go ahead and order one, you'll be glad you did.

I have been so impressed by Long Beach Music. I purchased this light over 12 months ago and thought I was having a technical issue.
