It only takes 90s in the microwave and is able to keep her whole hand and stomach warm for at least 10-min. She put her right hand inside and placed it on her stomach. She said there’s also some sort of calming herbs-liked scent after heating. And the pouch inside gets a little moist too. So her hand stays “hydrated” (not dry or itchy from the heat) and pain-manageable. Highly recommend!
Review: Broken wrist and sore finger relief! - I bought a MyCare Heat Therapy Glove because I shattered my wrist in October and had surgery to repair the extensive damage. They recommended in physical therapy that I heat my hand and wrist before doing exercises at home. I thought this would be easier than hooking up to a heating pad with an electrical cord so I bought one. It works great! Put it in the microwave for 1 minute 15 seconds and it is perfect for that purpose. I was visiting my parents for Thanksgiving and Dad (who just turned 96) got a chill after being outside and he complained about his hands getting cold so I heated it up and had him put one hand inside and rest it on the other hand. He warmed right up and asked me to buy one for him! My brother, who used to work in construction, heated it up for Dad the day after Dad received it and put it on his hand as he was walking over to Dad's chair... He never made it to Dad's chair. Instead he sat down with it covering a hand that had been hurt and operated on years ago - so Dad called me and asked me to order yet a third one so my brother would have one, too!

My mom has arthritis on her right fingers so it’s pretty painful for her to get through a day without pain relievers. Sometimes they don’t help at all. I was looking for some heating tool to keep her hand warm as she complained her hand always feels icy cold which worsens the pain on her fingers. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ COLD yes! HOT no!!

This is great for icing a wrist and hand after surgery. Not for heat. 5 stars for cold 0 stars for heat I bought two, one for hot which i planned to use before PT exercises and another for cold to use after exercises, The cold one worked great but after microwaving the second one as directed it smelled awful, like wet hay in a barn. I sent the second one back and went back to using a hot water bottle.
