It's nice to not have to deal with your phone while using the scope. The screen size and quality of the image are good, and the brightness of the lights are easily adjustable. I bought it to look into tractor gear boxes, but have only used it once to look under the slab of my house as I was leveling it. It was a little difficult to get it to go where I wanted because it was in such a wide area, but I was able to see where my water and drain pipes came out of the soil and entered the slab. Well worth the money.

My son is currently 5 yrs old and he's always throwing stuff in the toilet. I have found popsicle sticks, a toothbrush, toy race cars, etc. I noticed the toilet was clogged. I used a snake and was able to grab the items I just stated. After using the toilet snake, it still was clogged. I didn't want to call the plumber since last time he charged me a lot and I was so mad at myself for not knowing how to do what he did. I promised myself I'll do anything in my power to prevent this from happening again. I went on Amazon and searched for snake with a claw attachment. This item popped up and I thought oh this is pretty cool and would be perfect! I got it using prime and as soon as I got it, I charged it to ensure it has enough power. I placed it into the toilet and turned on the camera. After a few mins of learning how to use it, I then attached the hook attachment to it. As you can see from the pictures, it was something blue. I asked everyone in the house what is this blue thing. No one knew of course. I said this is the issue and I have to get this out! It took me a bit to get the hook to attach to and I was able to slowly get it out! That truly made my day! I saved money by not calling a plumber. Come to find out, it was one of my daughters huge ribbons that go into her hair. That thing was massive. This device was able to help me with this issue and made me look like a real handyman for the day! I highly recommend for any such needs.

Ill start by saung this is an extremely budget friednly option for those that need a scope. I had a plumbing issue in a home, well, it would be a plumbing issue if there were pipes. The previous owner had a shower redone, and whomever did it just punched a hole through the concrete foundation and allowed the water to drain under the foundation. I needed to see if there was existing plumbing, so i purchased this scope for that. Worked like i needed it to. Its waterproof, and i needed that feature as i was snaking it through some standing water. The display is small but has a clear picture. The scope is about 11 feet long, so plenty of length. Last, the cable is flexible but firm, so itt aids in inserting it and just wont flop everywhere. It can be a bit difficult to maneuver once in the pipes and the imiage will sometimes be upside down, but i can live with that. Additionally, it come with some attqchments like a hook, so if something was lost in a deeper area you can retrieve it (like a ring). All in all, its a budget scope that does the job. Its not made of thr best materials (its all plastic), but if you need to snake q drain or view the inside of a wall or the cylinder of an engine, this thing is worth its weight.

First of all, this is NOT like a Catscan like you see on the Good Doctor! You won't get a miraculous diagnosis in seconds, but you WILL get a better idea about what's going on. After some use, I realize now that this is only ONE tool to use if you're looking for a cause of a leak behind walls, subfloor, etc. However, this Endoscope is invaluable in > eliminating < potential areas or problems as you troubleshoot. The first thing I did was use Whiteout to dot the camera and the entire length of the cable every 6 inches to orient the camera with the monitor. (The whole cable has to be rotated in order to rotate the camera). The picture is pretty clear, and while there are 3 brightness settings, I found that they're all pretty close, so I used the high setting, which is what comes on when the monitor is switched on. The camera gets fairly warm, which surprised me, and the first 6 inches of the cable retains its shape pretty well. I was looking for a leak inside a bathroom shower wall, so I had to remember to keep cleaning drywall dust off the camera lens. The lens itself does not seem to have any protection, so you have to be careful when snaking the cable. I used a tape measure to measure how far the cable should go to get to my suspected leak area, and I electrical taped the cable at the same distance from the camera end so I would know how far to insert it. I think I found the source of the leak ( it turned out to be a hot water pipe that was expanding and contracting inside the wall, which mimicked the sound of dripping water!), but I am glad I have this handy tool for future plumbing and electrical jobs that I have coming up. It should prove to be invaluable.

Picture quality good, difficulty to use as cable is very stiff. Holds up well. Still looking for a better option. Use at home (no professional)

Perfect for what I needed . Everything functions well right out of the box. The camera has a light on the end ( not the best light but enough for most tasks) the wire is both bendable and rigid enough for most home tasks. This is NOT a professional tool and is not pro quality . It is a very lightweight simple home / shop tool . The screen and images are clear and easily visible although a bit grainy . Easy to use . I bought this to look into the ceiling trying to identify an issue without having to break any drywall. It's waterproof and would be effective for a pipe or small drain . It's not strong enough to act as a snake just to identify an issue . The price makes this a great purchase for minor tasks around the house.

Item I a easy to use with no setup or app to download and connect. Image is crystal clear. After buy other alternate devices that failed, it's nice to find a product that works.

Very impressive,this item is far more robust and rugged than claimed in the advert.Was expecting a fragile item with grainy image etc but this unit is far better than expected at the price,clear display is great,cable/lens etc well made too.This will be a useful addition to my diagnostic equipment,will be ordering again as a backup.
