It's a very solid product. The extra coverage to protect your fork stanchions is the reason I bought this. I've noticed a lot less dust and debris accumulating on the dark side of my fork stanchions compared to my old fenders that have less coverage. I didn't get this for protection my face from mud and debris, but to protect my fork stanchions from rock chips and the like. And in that regard, it does incredibly well. The designs also look pretty cool and adds a bit of flair to my bikes.
