BAD ASS!!!
Two words “BAD ASS!!!” This thing is so cool looking and much bigger than I thought, fits the Miles Quaritch figure perfectly! Love the attention to detail like the fingers on the hand, and the freaking ammo belt that goes to the gun, SO COOL! Highly recommend this, it is a little wobbly when you try to stand it upright but once you get it in a good position it’s pretty stable.

A must have figure (regardless of whether you like the Avatar films or not)
I think the Avatar films are fine but I’m not a super fan. However, I always loved the AMP suits since I’m a huge mech fan. An BOY is this figure sweet. While I like mcfarlane figures, there’s usually some kind of catch with them (either lacking in paintjob, articulation, or durability). None of those are an issue here. The paint job is solid with some neat little details, this figure feels solid and has a good amount of articulation. And since I got it on sale, it was a absolute steal for the price I paid. It’s pretty big and comes with a gun, a grabbing hand, and a knife that can be held or stored in the sheath. Unfortunately, it doesn’t come with a pilot (which is sold separately) though I was able to fit my joytoy figure in the cockpit (you’ll definitely need a smaller figure for it to fit). The joints are real tight too so while you don’t have to worry about any wobbly bits, it might require some muscle to bend some of the joints. Overall though, for the price I paid vs what you get, this is a great figure for both Avatar fans and just scifi/mech lovers.

This thing is so sick! Definitely worth the money!
This avatar movie amp suit is so cool! You really get your money’s worth honestly. However, although it is highly detailed and articulated, I wish there was that much attention to the back of it. Nothing too bad though! It doesn’t take any less from how cool it is. But I also think that this suit should have included the Colonel Quaritch with it. Paying $25 for the 4.5 inch little guy in order to complete this piece is a bit too much. At most I’d say sell Quaritch for $10 or $15 maximum. You don’t really need him to make this amp suit look great though! You can use any figures of that size and it’ll look great! ButvI personally had to get the little guy to complete this set. I took some pictures with the amp suit next to various other figures so you can see the scale difference to some marvel legends, marvel select, and other mcfarlane figures! In conclusion. 40 dllrs for this amp is definitely worth it! But 65 for the suit and Quaritch is a bit too much.

Great figure for the price
The figure arrived in good conditions but the blister and the box were damaged a little

Great for an Avatar fan!
It has excellent detail and feels sturdy, and I noted that it’s specifically the AMP suit that Colonel Quaritch uses in the first Avatar movie (it has his name on it) which is a cool detail!

Looks and feels high end.
Looks exactly like Mattel's AMP suit from 2009, but up close there are better paint apps. Plastic is thick and feels durable, so it weighs nearly twice as much than the 2009 toy. Uses ball jointed hips, so it's more stable and posable than Mattel's. Ratcheting joints means it will hold poses with ease. Overall a high quality toy that is more than worth its price tag. McFarlane Toys continues to prove they're the best toy company in the industry, giving you the most bang for your buck.

So nice! I bought it for my son’s birthday, and he loves it but he loves the crab suit more because of the details. It’s a perfect pairing!!! Thank you

These McFarlane Avatar mechs like this Amp suit and the Crab mech feel like premium figures. The articulation is amazing, the sculpted detail is unmatched, and the paint job is stellar. It stands beautifully even next to my $600 transformers of the same scale. It is well worth the money. I will likely army build these as long as the space allows.

Nice quality castings for the appropriate avatar figure, which fitted in easily.
