I bought one and it was damaged in shipping. I already own an aluminum one and it is quite a bit lighter and still plenty sturdy. I bought another aluminum one.

Good tripod for a good price

The tripod is exactly what I needed for the two field instruments I have. It is light weight and came with a strap to bind the legs when closed and has good locking levers for the legs. The price point made it great for the needs I had for this item. There was a slight issue with the shipping but after contacting Tiger Supplies and Amazon, the order was quickly received.
