Bargain price but not the finest
I enjoy a salad dressing of olive oil and balsamic vinegar, neither of which are usually cheap if you are looking for quality. I prefer Greek olive oil as its lightness and mild flavour suits me best. I have tried several different balsamic vinegars and all tend to have the distinctive sweet flavour characteristic. There is a Greek variety which mixes in a spot of honey which is nice for a change but mostly I go for the Modena origin/type product and seeing amazon's own version at a very low price decided to give it a try.It comes in a suitable screw-top bottle with a pouring insert to stop it sloshing out. However, it is VERY light and liquid and WILL splash out freely so be careful when using for the first time! It's good enough, especially at the bargain price but I think it is worth paying a bit more for a rather more viscous product which is why I award four stars rather than 5.

More expensive than the supermarket brands but I personally don't find it better - it is not acidic or sweet, doesn't have much flavour. OK to finish but won't buy again.
