I have a 2012 Hyundai Elantra Touring GLS (hatchback). After my brake lights remaining on & draining my battery to the point of ruination, I whittled it down to this seemingly insignificant looking little rubber stopper. Auto parts store sold me the wrong one, spent an hour in the Texas heat trying to make it fit. after screaming the F word multiple times and sweating out half of my body weight, I finally resigned to the fact that this was just not going to fit. So I went on Amazon and I found this level piece. It was here early the next morning. It went in within 1.5 seconds. Itโs exactly the perfect fit. It does the job wonderfully. It was so easy to install. The rubber seems to be very durable. And you get so many for such a small amount of money. The one in the auto store, was $11 for one. This has like six in it. Great value, great product. If you are facing the same problem, I was, and you have my car or Hyundai (probably many other manufacturers as well)โฆthis is your answer!

Good for Hyundai Santa Fe (2005)
Worked great for my 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe. Break light wouldnโt turn off and it ended up being because this little piece had broken (I saw plastic pieces on my floorboard). Thankfully was an easy fix!

Perfect replacement! I have a 2015 Hyundai Elantra and the brake lights were always on, running or not. Quick Google led me to pad issue. Who knew a little plastic grommet could break apart after time, but apparently a common issue. This replacement popped right in and comes in a 4 pack, so 3 spares if I ever need them. Great product!

Tolerances to fit in the brake pedal lever are a bit small
Tolerances are a bit off, the pointy bit seems to be manufactuered that it fits a bit loose in the brake pedal lever. I'm hoping letting it sit overnight pressed against the brake switch will get it to stick in there but when you first install it, it will be loose.I can say replacing it vs using a penny taped on there allowed me to engage my cruise control which previously wasn't working. Apparently you need to push the switch in a little further than the width of a penny to get cruise control to engage. It was easy to install and it works, but I'll have to see if it stays in there. If I forget about it falling out I'll have a dead battery by morning.

Worked on 2016 Mustang EcoBoost Premium (S550)
This worked like a champ just like in the video review on this product that showed the installation on a 2015+ Ford Mustang. When the original part failed/crumbled, the car was in limp mode due it thinking the brakes were pressed at the same time as gas (max 2000 rpms). Our temporary solution was to fold up a business card as a spacer until this part arrived.
