The thread cutter is marvellous and the auto threader is great and so easy to use . I had stopped using this on my old machine as you had to hold it down while trying to thread, not on this one, you click it down and then have two free hands. its really quiet and stable and doesn't move about. The extras with this machine are really good too, 5 feet as well as an extension table, a quilters foot, a button hole foot and then all the normal things like spools, needles, screwdriver and brush etc. I would highly recommend this machine to anyone from a starter to an experienced sewer. It has 59 stitches, a start/stop button, needle up/down button and an auto thread cutter. it was especially made for a quilter so you can alter the foot for thicker material. The machine is sturdy and isn’t too loud. It is heavy, though, due to its sturdy construction, so if you are planning to haul it around a lot, be aware that it is not light.
