Even though the description lists this as a sport weigh (#2) yarn, I would say it is a #1 fingering weight yarn. It is beautiful and works up nicely.

Would this make a good table runner?

I think a table runner made from this yarn would be lovely.

Not at all. My only problem was it twisted easily and skein became a mess. Had to wind into a ball before using.
