This is common after we forget to take the label off before putting the item in the dishwasher. If the surface is wet before we put the label on it, then the label doesn't stick. When we take a labeled item out of the fridge , the sweat on the surface doesn't seem to affect the label. **Q: To print, do I put the sheet in the tray for smaller photo paper or in the large tray? Please advise.** A: I had to check to see which packaging this was. (I have purchased both the smaller sheets of labels in a clear plastic clamshell and also the 8.5x11" sheets). The item shown here is the smaller, just 20 labels per sheet. So, depending on your printer, you may need to slide the edges of the feed guide to a more narrow setting for individual pieces that are smaller than letter-size. Other machines have a dedicated tray for small sheets.
